First floor corner apartment on the outskirts of Zone 3, Son Bou Gardens, with large shared pools, sunbeds and parasols. The apartment has been modernised with the comfort of its guests in mind. The apartment enjoys a quiet, corner location, with partial sea views and handy access to Son Bou beach - less than 10 minutes walk away. Modern fitted wardrobes (with sliding doors ), SKY , BT SPORT , FILMS , BBC1 AND ITV , WI-FI , The kitchen includes an electric oven and ceramic hob , Coffee Maker, Toaster, Kettle, Microwave, fridge / freezer , Washing Machine and pots and pans and dishware you may need, , Electronic Safe, Hairdryer, iron and ironing board , Remote Control ceiling fans in all rooms as well as floor standing fans , comfy modern sofas are just some of the home comforts guests have come to enjoy.

About The Owner

I visited the island several years ago and loved it , I visited again in 2014 and again in 2015 , this time I decided I wanted to buy an apartment , I bought the apartment of a couple called Iain and Liz , they kept the apartment lovely over the years , and I will continue to holiday in the apartment every year, ensuring it remains well maintained for my guests.

Why The Owner chose Minorca (Menorca)

Son Bou has one of the nicest, most child-friendly beaches on the island. In fact, it's the longest on the island - almost 3km of golden sand. If you prefer a pool to the beach, don't worry, as you will have a choice of three: one at Zone 3 (where the apartment is), one at Zone 5 (5/6 mins walk) and one at Club San Jaime (2 mins walk).

The resort also has plenty of amenities, such as shops, restaurants and small supermarkets. It is centrally located on the southern side of the island, which is great if you are exploring further afield, such as the towns of Mahon or Ciutadella, or heading north to the fishing villlage of Fornells.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment is on a corner plot on the outermost edge of Zone 3, Son Bou Gardens. This means it's less than a 10 min walk to the beach, but also it's at the quiet end of Zone 3, opposite a lovely Spanish bakery and patisserie - very handy in the mornings and lunchtime!

Because it's a first floor corner plot, it's much lighter and airier inside than other terraced apartments. Also, because the first floor is the top floor, there's plenty of privacy on the front and rear terraces.

When I first saw the apartment, I was impressed with the refurbishments the last owner had made. I have continued to modernise the apartment since then (e.g. TV, DVD , WI-FI, new furniture, furnishings, fitted wardrobes) to try and make it as modern and as comfortable as possible for guests.

Notes on accommodation: Comfortable, modern accommodation in a quiet location. Outside: Shared landscaped gardens set around a shared pool with sunbeds and parasols. A poolside restaurant and bar is next to the pool serving hot and cold snacks and meals throughout the day. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included and replaced every week. Apartment clean prior to arrival. Other: Front terrace enjoys a good amount of privacy being a corner plot. It also has a fitted sun canopy which extends over the terrace. use of beech chairs , umbrellas etc.

Marvelous second floor apartment in ideal location

Very impressed with this clean and modern apartment, The kitchen area has everything you will need including utensils and cleaning products under the sink. The bathroom was spotless and had ironing board, brushes etc in cupboard behind the door. Was lovely to have breakfast on the front balcony under the canopy. The bakery behind does wonderful fresh bread and cakes, they also sell water in six packs which saved carrying it from the supermarket. If you don't feel like cooking or going ou you cant get a takeaway from almost any restaurant. Nothing is too far away from this apartment, a real diamond.

Excellent,First Class,Home from Home

Having stayed in many private rentals in Menorca this was by far the best we have ever had.Apartment was spotless,beautifully furnished and had everything we needed and more.Perfect location for Beach,Pool and Shops.We will definitely be returning,Nick the owner was very helpful and was on hand should we have encountered any problems,if you are looking for first class accommodation,look no further,its just perfect.

Amazing

The apartment was amazing it had everything you needed and more for your holiday it was clean and tidy and also had information on where is best places to eat and places to visit. The apartment was not far from places to eat and the beach as well as the 3 pools you can use. It was a great holiday and my kids loved every minute of it and we will Deffo be going back. The owner of the apartment was at hand over the phone for help if I needed it overall it was a great apartment and holiday and would recommend to my friends

Less than 10 minutes walk to the long 3km, sandy Son Bou beach.

Mahon Airport is 20 minutes drive away.

Distances:

Mahon is 20 minutes drive away, Ciutadella 35 minutes drive, Alaior 10 minutes. Airport transfers and car hire can be arranged. A good bus service stops just a few minutes walk from the apartment.

Further Details:

Son Bou has a wide variety of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars, predominantly Spanish. There are three communal swimming pools available to guests. Son Bou also has water slides at nearby Club San Jaime , the owner charges 5 euros to hire loungers , but they give you a 5 euro voucher against food purchased (their food is not great though and their staff are known to be rude !!.), the best pool area and food is at son bou gardens restaurant (100 yards from apartment , looking from balcony) , speak to felipe (manager) and say hi from me. A road train also operates throughout the resort stopping at panoramic vantage points. And of course, the beach - almost 3 km of sand !!!. 18 hole golf course in son parc in the north of island , appx 25 minute drive.
