Large lounge with open plan fully fitted kitchen complete with Fridge Freezer, microwave, oven, hob, washing machine and 6 ft breakfast bar.

Family bathroom with Bath, Shower, bidet, WC and wash hand basin.

Choice of 3 gated communal swimming pools including a dedicated toddlers pool. Life guard on duty during peak season.

I've been travelling to Spain for over 40 years and it was only a matter of time before I bought my own house there.

My parents have a house in the Malaga region of Spain and my sister lives in Valencia so Spain really is a 2nd home for me. We feel comfortable here and given I am learning the language having my own place in Spain is a great help.

Why James chose Mojacar area

I've been travelling to Spain for over 40 years and it was only a matter of time before I bought my own house there.

I made a handful of trips to this general area of Spain to make sure we liked and it and it's fair to say we do. We love it in fact. Unlike many of the over populated parts of Spain, this area remains true to a by gone Era when Spain WAS SPAIN and not little England.

We looked at several slightly more spacious and slightly more luxurious apartments and houses before deciding on the one we did and for us it was about a gut feeling as although smaller than some of the places we looked at this house felt welcoming. It was a gut feeling if you like.

Add to that the fact that the more luxurious and more spacious places we looked at were tucked away 2 or 3 kilometres from any signs of "life".

The house we chose is not only welcoming and quaint and comfortable but it is within strolling distance of a good. Number of bars, restuarants and shops and is only a 6 minute walk to the beach. It really was a case of Location, Location, Location.

Oh yeah that and the pool - what can I say - WOW ! an 80ft pool welcomes you if you fancy a proper swim and if that wasn't enough there is a 2 nd smaller pool if you just wanted to cool down.

It was also important to us to have a place with outside space and although I felt the patio on this was a little small as soon as the estate agent opened the door for me to the Sun Terrace the sale was as good as made. Two outside spaces a lovely pool walking distance from a number of drinking and eating houses and the lovely Spanish weather.

We just had to get it.

A MUST DO for anybody visiting this part of Spain is to enjoy the hospitality on offer by Mojacar Pueblo which is a throwback to the iconic whitewashed Spanish mountain villages which boasts some fantastic views and some fine eateries and bars and really is idyllic.

Excellent property with superb facilities

Excellent location and everything you need within the property. The outside space was just right. The owner seemed to have provided everything we needed, both inside and outside the property, for example chairs, cold box, parasol and even beach towels.
