Lovely

  • 5 of 5

My partner and I stayed here over Christmas. The building is amazing. So many big windows looking out to a lovely view (not overlooked at all). The property was warm, welcoming and had everything we needed. The location is away from the hustle and bustle, but a short drive to supermarkets and not too far from main tourist attractions (eg. Lake Windermere). Thank you for making our Christmas a special one, we hope to be back.

Lovely place to stay if you are considering a visit to the Lake District!!

  • 5 of 5

A lovely converted modern mixed with old barn, light and airy perfect for a short or longer stay in the Lakes with everything you need for self catering. Fully equipped kitchen, comfy bed, internet access and tv fine & a stunning garden, you can sit in the lounge and chill looking out to this. Close to Kendal 5 min drive, 25 min to visit lake Windemere and an hour to Keswick. Large supermarkets near by for food & local pub a short drive away. Perfect location for us. Jennifer the owner popped over to check we were ok, which was a nice! Only thing missing that would have been useful was a bedside lamp for reading at night! Other than that, It's a perfect snug for a couple to stay in! Thank you Jennifer and Howard we will be back in future and will certainly recommended! Rebecca & Richard
