This house is in between Fleetwood and Thornton Cleveleys close to bus routes and tourist attractions ,The Nautical College and The Iron Horse local pub are also very close.Farmer Parrs animal world is just round the corner. Cala Gran Holiday Park with water slides is also very close..For fans of real ale try the Strawberry Gardens Fleetwood a great CAMERA pub!!

Fleetwood Town football club is about 2 miles away. This Cod Army fan welcomes well behaved away fans! The 14 bus takes you to either Fleetwood or Blackpool as far as St Annes Alternatively you can drive to Cleveleys and take the new tram service between Blackpool and Fleetwood Bus (passes accepted on trams). The tram stops at Blackpool Tower and the Pleasure Beach , Cleveleys and Fleetwood. For those you love shopping Fleetwood market is on 4 days a week Poulton le Fylde market on Mondays and Fleetwood Freeport Shopping outlet 7 days a week.

In the Summer there are beer festivals, folk festivals , the Gala, travelling fair and Tram Sunday which is a fantastic day out for all the family . The beaches are really beautiful and natural. There are some restrictions on dog walking in the summer months but if the tide is out its ok.

Now to the accommodation!

There are three bedrooms( one en- suite) a large living room/ dining room with wll mounted 55 inch tv, large fully equipped new kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, iron and board, fridge , freezer,oven hob and extractor.The newly fitted family bathroom has an over bath rain shower , new ground floor cloakroom and parking for up to 3 cars. The rear garden is securely fenced which is ideal for our four legged friends! The garden gets the afternoon and evening sun . On the new terrace dine al fresco ! The hardwood dining table extends to seat 8 guests

There are fields to the rear so the sunny garden is not overlooked.

The master bedroom has an en suite shower room and a super king size bed with individual mattresses which are electronically controlled and can be adjusted as required.

Bedroom 2 has a double bed and a single. Its fine for 3 children but 3 adults would be a bit of a squeeze!

Bed 3 has a single bed and the best view of the house over the fields to Fleetwood

The traditional cot ( not travel) fits in the master bedroom. At a push I could fit a camp bed in the lounge if required!

There are televisions with built in CD players in all bedrooms andthe lounge tv is a 55 inch wall mounted one with freeview .

Children are welcome. I have a cot, high chair stair gate and toys available.Baby sitting by arrangement with owner and family members.

The kitchen is well equipped with pots pans microwave utensils and glasses. All towels and linen are provided.

Pheasants wood is popular with dog walkers 5 mins from the house

What makes this house unique

My property is excellent value for families and small groups of friends and couples. The house is in a residential area between Fleetwood and Thornton Cleveleys. Much refurbishment has been carried out recently. New kitchen bathroom cloakroom and living room. It is really good value and booking levels are high. Workers are welcome we have had many over they years. If its a longer stay special rates are available on application, WIFI in property and owners live in Blackpool so can assist with any questions etc

Good base for visiting Blackpool

We chose here as a group of 7 (3 adults, 4 young children), we prefer a whole house over a hotel any day. The house is a good size, bigger than an average 3 bedroom house I would say. Parking and entry were all fine. This house is about 20-25 mins drive from the main Blackpool attractions which was fine for us. Made a good base for our trip. House could do with some maintenance, lots of things were broken or missing and we had to defrost the freezer when we arrived as it was so iced up the door didn't shut and the drawers didn't open - so was unusable. I messaged the landlady to let her know that we had defrosted it for her and cleaned it out. But didn't get a reply,a thank you would have been nice considering it took the first hour or two of our stay. If you plan to cook anything other than ready meals/pizza etc I would bring some equipment as there wasn't a great selection of equipment, and what was there was just a bit random. we ended up with our toddlers drinking out of sherry glasses as it was that or a pint/wine glass lol. Some just normal glasses would be good, and more cutlery. and a plastic chopping board etc.

Beds were comfy and house was warm enough and plenty of hot water etc. We struggled to get the shower in the bathroom to work and the shower in the on suite was a trickle, so we used the bath instead which wouldn't be my choice, but we made do for the week.

Had no major issues though, was a nice sized house and we had a good week away. I would certainly consider renting this again if we were to come back to blackpool. It was hassle free booking and getting the key etc.

Owner's Response: Hi thanks for staying at my place and for taking the time to leave a review. I didn't receive any message about the new freezer. There is plenty of cooking equipment 3 saucepans , wok and frying pan , casserole dishes utensils cutlery roasting tins etc.The glasses are really for the adults rather than toddlers. The chopping board is a new wooden one. I am pleased you enjoyed your stay and found the house suitable in terms of location and size and comfy beds. I will have the shower checked its on a pump so should be fine. Hope you come again Regards Helen

Peacefull location, nr to all in area

Nice house with all amienaties , washer, dryer, fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave etc very spacious, wifi, tvs in all rooms was great, well equipped, plenty of towels, lovely bedding, few faults, floor very noisy up stairs, especially if any one gets up at night, shower pump also very noisy. Overall worth the money
