A lovely place to escape, yet minutes from the beach and shops in Bembridge.

The flat in North Wells is in a superb location. On one of Bembridge's best lanes, just yards from access to the beach. Only a couple of minutes' walk to the shops. North Wells is a secret gem hidden from view with easy parking and plenty of outdoor space and grounds to enjoy. The flat is up a short flights of steps and has a lounge and kitchen/dining area with two good sized bedrooms upstairs on the floor above.

Value for money and great location

We really enjoyed holidaying in this apartment and found there to be plenty of space for two adults plus a 16 yr old and a 7 yr old. The location is fantastic as it’s just five minutes walk to the beach and we spent a lot of time searching in pools at low tide and trying (but failing!) to remove limpets from their grip on rocks. The beach entertained the 7 yr old and 16 yr old was kept happy with WiFi in the apartment. The only minor annoyance was that some of the kitchen crockery and tools were a little grubby although easy for us to put right, the apartment itself though was spotless. The double bed was large snd we really appreciated snuggling down under a feather duvet and pillows - so comfy and we all slept very well. We’d love to come back to the Isle of Wight for another holiday and stay in this great apartment.

Owner's Response: I am so pleased that you enjoyed your stay at North Wells. I do apologise that some of the utensils were not very clean. We do check these everytime we clean the flat between guests, but it sounds as though they were missed on this occasion. Amanda

Comfortable flat in the village but right by the beach

A short stay to visit family but we had a very comfortable few nights at the apartment which has everything you need - the kitchen / diner is spacious and very well equipped, beds were comfy and the location couldn't be better - you can walk to the shops and cafe's in the centre of the village but also just at the end of the lane are steps down to the beach. We would definitely return again - thank you Amanda for a lovely stay.

North Wells, Bembridge

The flat was very well equipped and comfortable, but we found a bit of difficulty with the steep stairs and luggage, being as we are both in our 70's! It is obviously more suited to a younger family. Even so, we did enjoy our stay. A dressing table with mirror would have been appreciated for the purposes of hair drying & styling. However, that is a small matter.
