A lovely place to escape yet minutes walk to the beach and shops in Bembridge.

The flat in North Wells is in a superb location. On one of Bembridge's best lanes and yards from access to the beach. Only a couple of minutes' walk to the shops. North Wells is a secret 'gem' hidden from view with easy parking and plenty of outdoor space and grounds to enjoy. The flat is up a short flights of steps and has a lounge and kitchen/dining area with two good sized bedrooms on the floor above.

Perfect spot

What a great place. Well stocked and such a peaceful spot. A very short walk down to the sea and handy for lots of places. Cooperartive shop just a few 100 metres up the lane for supplies. We would definitely staty here again. A great find.

Nice flat near the sea in Bembridge

The property was nice and the weather wonderful so we have a wonderful stay there.

The flat is next to the sea about 500m and is well equipped.

The bus stop is near the flat bus the one thing to know is that in summer there is only one bus per hour ... so don't miss it.

Lovely apartment near the beach

We found the apartment to be very clean and comfortable and liked it's location very much. The beach is at the end of the avenue and local shops and other amenities are very close by. We only needed our car to visit other areas of the Island but Bembridge itself had everything we needed for a relaxing time - including an excellent Chinese Restaurant and a cafe/bar within 2-3 minutes walk from the apartment itself.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because

1) the poor drainage in the bathroom meant we had to keep an eye on the shower tray to make sure we weren't running the water too long and risking flooding the floor, which was a bit of problem if you wanted to wash your hair and shower at the same time.

2) the bedroom storage space was taken up with spare bedding etc, so there was actually very little space to put clothes, make-up etc

These things were minor details when compared with the holiday as a whole and we may well be booking again for next year.

Owner's Response: The shower drainage had been looked at a couple of weeks earlier and seemed to be fixed as we had not heard anything to the contrary. We will arrange for this to be sorted immediately now thst we are aware of the issue. We will also look into the storage situation in the bedrooms. Many thanks for the feedback.
