10 Cloisters Walk, is a luxurious modern, light and airy 1st floor apartment. Located in the centre of York but in a quiet location, it's literally just a few minutes walk away from the Old Town with all its attractions including York Minster. It also benefits from free secure parking and attractive private garden to enjoy all year round.

The apartment has been refurbished to a very high standard and tastefully decorated with careful attention to detail. There is a new stylish fully equipped kitchen with built-in appliances including dishwasher, washer dryer, fridge, a Nespresso coffee machine, comfortable dining chairs and sofa, Smart TVs in both the lounge and bedroom, a blue tooth music system (allowing you to play music from your phone) , high-speed free wifi and USB sockets.

The apartment can accommodate for up to 4 people and supplies Egyptian cotton bedding and soft white towels. There is a a king size bed and sofa bed in the lounge. The sofa bed is a cozy sleep for 2 people and fine for an extra person. Note there is a £10 supplement per night per person if you wish to use the sofa bed, please let us know at the time of booking and we will leave extra bedding and towels.

The apartment's bathroom has both a good sized bath, overhead shower and heated towel rail.

There is a supermarket just around the corner and a myriad of restaurants, cafes and bars just a stones throw away. The apartment benefits from being in the heart of the Centre but in a quiet and peaceful location, it has all the comforts of a hotel suite with the flexibility of lifestyle and some lovely Yorkshire touches, home baking and fresh flowers!

The owners have extensive knowledge of York and the surrounding areas and ensure that guests have up-to-date tourist information provided to enjoy their stay.

About The Owner

We have lived in York for over 20 years and have recently refurbished 10 Cloisters Walk offering a stunning apartment in the middle of the City but in a quiet location. We have really enjoyed creating the apartment, which resembles a luxurious hotel suite, with special Yorkshire touches (including Yorkshire tea!) and has a elegant open-planned lounge/kitchen area to relax in.

We have marketing and engineering backgrounds respectively and both work and socialise in this amazing compact City which contains a wealth of fascinating history. If you stay with us we look forward to sharing our knowledge and ensuring you get the chance to find out about the tucked away treasurers as well as the magnificent main attractions.

This property is situated in the best location in York, right in the Centre but tucked away in a quiet location. Parking is at a premium in York and extremely expensive. Our apartment comes with a parking space. We have designed the interiors with much care and consideration to ensure that you will feel very relaxed and enjoy returning to after a day of exploring our wonderful City. This apartment is perfect for a couple or a single person and is a safe area of York.

Exceptional Flat in Great Location

We so enjoyed our stay in this centrally located flat. The flat was very comfortable and had all the amenities we wanted. The garden behind the flat was an added and beautiful bonus.The owners were a pleasure to deal with and took the time to tour the flat with us, as well as share materials they had prepared with suggestions for things to do and restaurants to try. We would highly recommend a stay.

Incredible apartment with everything you need

This place has it all. Clean, very comfortable king bed with crispy clean sheets, great pillows and beautiful decorating. The location is at the gate to the old town area. It is right next to the grocery store. Great TV with Netflix available. We loved it.

Great Apartment for York Vacations

This is a great place for seeing the sights in York. The apartment is just outside of Monkbar - so is just a short 8-10 minute stroll to the York Minster. The Shambles (and shopping) and the many York Museums are also just a little walk away.

Melanie and David were very helpful during our stay (David even met us as we were hopping out of the cab)! They showed us all of the features of the apartment (of which there are many) and even recommended some of their favorites restaurants (which my wife and I verified were very good). The apartment has everything you would need for a long stay (DVDs, books, etc), but the thing we found most helpful was the clothes washer/dryer! It enabled us to do laundry halfway through our Britain trip. The unit even has an outdoor garden area (shared with other units) which gives a nice area for enjoying the outdoors.

Home Away From Home

10 Cloisters Walk is a wonderful apartment just outside the Monk Bar, steps away from the Minster and the Shambles in the beautiful city of York. The apartment was well appointed, clean and comfortable. It was evident that Melanie and David had paid great attention to details and we quickly felt at home. What a great base from which to explore the city!
