'The Village of the 3 Vallées'

Situated at the entrance of the Vallée des Belleville, at 1450 meters, this small village has a unique combination of traditional savoyard charm with ski in / ski out facilities as part of the 3 Vallées ski area.

Having visited St Martin de Belleville for over 15 years, Jane & Tony chose this apartment to be their second home. The ski in - ski out was vital and over the last four years they have also come to value the boulangerie being in the same building, so the morning croissant can be fetched in slippers!

This duplex apartment is on the second floor of an apartment block which looks over the blue run and button lift in the centre of the village. The local village shops including butchers, bakers, pharmacy, a small supermarket, restaurants and a couple of bars are all within a couple of minutes.

However, with the apartment looking over the piste, there is very little noise at night, unless is a firework display, for which you will have prime viewing on the balcony!

The apartment has an entrance hall leading to one bedroom and bathroom as well as the open plan living area. A spiral staircase leads to 2 bedrooms and a shower room on the 1st floor.

The living area includes leather chairs and sofas ( incorporating a sofa bed) around the wall mounted TV and a kitchen area which is very well equipped with granite work tops, oven, hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and dish washer. There is also a dining table and 8 chairs.

The apartment has its own wifi and English satellite TV.

The large balcony looks directly over the piste and button lift in the heart of the village, making it a perfect location to catch the afternoon sunshine and watch friends and family return at the end of the day.

Please note that because of the spiral staircase in the main living area, we do not recommend our apartment for young children.

Parking is provided in the apartment building next door.

Jane & Tony Carruthers were introduced to St Martin de Belleville 20 years ago. Having lived in the USA & Middle East there have been opportunities to ski in many resorts across the world but St Martin was an easy first choice when it came to buying a ski apartment.

Superb apartment in perfect position for ski in and out, and all the village has to offer.

Great holiday in a great apartment. Position 10/10, apartment very well appointed and equipped. Couldn't ask for more, and excellent value for money. Will certainly try to return when next in St Martin.

Excellent apartment in superb location in Saint Martin de Belleville

We are a family with 2 children and this was our 3rd summer holidaying in St Martin, but our first year staying in this apartment... I think we can definitely say this is the apartment we'll be booking in future years! It is very tastefully decorated, and well equipped and a comfortable place to return to after sampling all the adventures in the region. It's excellently positioned, central to the village with a balcony overlooking the piste and best of all(!) above the bakers where we bought fresh bread and Croissants every morning. Jane, the owner was very helpful and efficient in all our correspondence and I couldn't recommend this apartment any more highly.

Extremely comfortable, modern apartment in an ideal location

We had a lovely week in the apartment in February 2016.

Clean, bright, modern and well-equipped, with everything we needed.

Ski in/ski-out with the benefit of a garaged parking space, good heating and hot water and extremely comfortable throughout the bedrooms and living accommodation with lovely bright modern bathrooms and a good kitchen.

Ski storage in the basement, TV/DVD, good wifi.

Tony and Jane were pleasure to deal with throughout.

  • All our beds have pocket sprung John Lewis mattresses and under bed storage, for suitcases and all those skiing accessories! Bed space for the 7/8th person is on a double bed inside the lounge sofas. Bedding is stored in a top cupboard in the master bedroom.

  • We renovated our apartment in 2012, including furniture and equipment that we would want to find in a holiday apartment. We employ a British couple, who live in St Martin year round to manage the apartment, so there is always someone on hand to help with any questions or urgent repairs.
