Wich Hazel´s holiday apartment is located in a peaceful country lane just outside the village of Woodfalls, making it the perfect retreat for the discerning holiday-maker wishing to enjoy the New Forest, Salisbury and surrounding areas.

About Ann & Colin Eveleigh

This has been our family home for nearly thirty years although at times work has taken us all over the UK and Ireland. Travel as been the preferred option rather than moving from this beautiful area.

A jewel in the New Forest crown

A long weekend combined with a family celebration and we needed somewhere to stay. Well Wich Hazel hit the mark in every respect. A warm welcome, a well designed and maintained apartment that is very well appointed, with everything you need for a relaxing stay.

The welcome is warm; the attention to detail, excellent; the surroundings one which you can simple immerse yourself in and relax & enjoy.

The apartment is in a quiet corner of the New Forest but has good access to the Forest.

There were ample (and current) information leaflets offering ideas for what to do / see in the Forest and the surrounding areas, and waterproof versions of OS maps, including one bespoke OS map that placed the apartment more or less in the centre (rather than on the edge of the 'standard OS map). A small touch but one that if you are exploring the Forest very helpful.

We were only looking for a long weekend, but having sampled the delights of Wich Hazel, we would certainly stay again, only look to stay longer next time!

Lovely comfortable apartment

Really quiet location.Well equipped with a beautiful garden .Lovely walks around the area.Recommend exploring The Moot in Downton. Post office and general store just up the hill has everything. Handy to get to Southampton for The Isle of Wight and all along the coast.Downland and Weald Open air Museum just north of Chichester is great as is Beaulieu Motor Museum and grounds. Excellent base for exploring the area.

Cosy flat, convenient for both Salisbury and walks in the New Forest

Lovely little flat, comfortable and warm in winter, very nicely furnished. Quiet and secluded, feels private. Easy to get to places and walks in the New Forest and close to Salisbury too.

A Quiet and Well Placed Apartment

Wich Hazel is a compact apartment on the Northern edge of the New Forest. We stayed for a week in October 2017. the apartment is comfortable and well equipped. Its location is very quiet and makes it an ideal base for exploring this side of the Forest and the surrounding district on foot or otherwise. Recommended.

Great place for a working holiday!

The property was excellent: clean, with everything I needed. A wonderful quiet retreat - with local walks for that needed 'leg-stretching' when I had been at the computer too long.
