3 bed, 3 bath, with mountain views, peaceful yet close to beach at Olu Deniz
Belos 9, with accommodation on three floors is situated in a Pine forest with views of the Babadag mountain and a cooling mountain breeze, welcome during the very hot summers. This villa was purchased in 2014 so all of the furniture and white goods are new.
All floors throughout, including the three patios are marble. It is set back about 300m from the main road, so away from the traffic and therefore peaceful but Ovacik and Hisaronu with shops and restaurants are within walking distance. A brand new water park is also within walking distance.

Lovely villa set in beautiful surroundings
About the Owner
About Jenny Tedora
I live in a lovely town called Manningtree, famous for Matthew Hopkins the witch-finder. We are also close to Dedham Vale, Constable country in Essex.
Jenny Tedora purchased this villa in 2013
Why Jenny Tedora chose Lycian & Turquoise Coast
I wanted to purchase a property where I could take my parents as they are getting older and where they could have their own section to be independent without having to climb stairs. I also have older children with partners and Belos 9 is ideal as they stay independently on the lower level.
The lower level also has its own balcony with table and chairs and direct access to the garden.
Belos 9 is ideal for this as the upstairs section sleeps 4 adults in 2 bedroom with 2 bathrooms plus kitchen, living room etc
What makes this villa unique
Belos 9 is unique in that it has a fully equipped, lower level comprising large bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living area giving the option for two small families to occupy but allowing individual space. The lower level also has its own access from outside, therefore suiting guests not able to use stairs easily.

Lovely villa set in beautiful surroundings
Villa is one of the best I have stayed in and was clean and furnished to a high standard. It is set in beautiful surroundings with the use of a clean and safe pool with quality sun beds and umbrellas. The rooms are large and pleasantly furnished. Great service from Manager before going and helpful Site Manager if needed. The villa is situated close to good restaurants and is only a short distance from a number of beaches and other attractions. I enjoyed visiting Oludeniz for its excellent beach, restaurants and nightlife and really enjoyed spending the day at the Olive Gardens in Kabak, a must do! There was so much to do and we will definitely be going back to Turkey to stay in this Villa again.
A beautiful house in a beautiful place.....
Fethiye and Oludeniz are beautiful in spring: not too hot and not very busy. We visit this area of Turkey for many years for that very reason... This year we stayed for the first time in this beautiful house, a nice big house in a quiet spot at the edge of the forest, halfway between Oludeniz and Fethiye. The house is large, with a spacious kitchen well equipped and it has a beautiful terrace. The house is part of a park of several houses, which has the important advantage that it has a very large and deep pool with plenty of sun loungers. A real pool…..
The owner is very helpful and friendly and helped us with immediate answers to all our questions. An overview with practical tips on restaurants and 'things to do' we already had in the mail before we even were there…
In short, a beautiful house waaar we love to come back and what we can wholeheartedly recommend to stay..

Activity and Interests
Olu-Deniz to paraglide is a must. There is now a restaurant at the top of the mountain too so an early morning trip up and back by taxi is a good idea too. Dalyan has the turtle river boat trips past the old tombs carved in the mountains and to feed the turtles as they eat in the river as it meets the sea. Turtle beach is a beautiful golden sandy beach.
Kabac is where the walkers, painters and those wanting total peace and quiet go. It has a coved sandy beach from where you can catch a water taxi to butterfly gorge and then a further water taxi from there to Olu-Deniz beach.
Saklikent Gorge is worth a trip with its rapid ride and the Tlos tombs are close by. For those who prefer not to climb up and around the ruins, there are cafes nearby where you can sip a cool drink or chi and watch those more energetic.
Markets - go early, especially in summer as the heat is unbearable at mid-day in high season. We always go for 08.30, nip in and get a bargain as well as a village breakfast, or pancake at the cafes within the markets. Buy village eggs rather than shop bought as they are fresher, probably picked that day. They come loose but are delicious and often are double yolkers.
If you want a cheap fake bag, go to the markets. If you want a more substantial one, go into the handbag shops in Fethiye but still barter as they will come down in price.
Electrical goods such as headphones and speakers - luck of the draw. I have bought bluetooth headphones and some have broken within weeks, usually the leads, but have had an ispeaker for over a year now and it cost me £10. Get the stall-holder to demonstrate electrical items working on your appliances before purchasing.
You can pick up a bargain though without the hassle and bustle of a market if you do not wish to shop that way although you should try it at least once. Hisaronu have a weekly market too but also have lots of handbag, t.shirt, clothing, DVD shops too. Barter, barter, barter as they will come down in price, especially if you pay in £ and buy multiples. They also have nail bars, tattoo shops and lots of bars and eateries. This is where the fish and chip shop is too but you can find food from anywhere in the world here and at reasonable prices too. You can pay in £ or lira almost everywhere except for some small out of way places. Just ask and they will print out bill in lire and in £ and do not stitch you up on the exchange rate either, they use the most current and up-to-date rates from their smartphones. You can see what they are at money exchange bureau's - there are lots in Fethiye, Hisaronu and Olu-Deniz. I would not advise changing money before leaving UK and if you do only change up a small amount if driving from airport for tunnel charge of 3.5lire. Change up say £10 to bring and change up in Turkey as the rate is far better. If you use a bank to change money you will have to take your passport. If you use the exchange bureau (and they show rates on electronic boards) you do not have to produce a passport. Tip, take any other notes you may have left over from other holidays as they will change them to lire too.
Has a very carnival air of an evening as there is a small funfair for children up to around 12 and the roads are closed of an evening to allow pedestrians to amble.
Lots of emergency outlets here too. None of us want it to happen but if there is an accident there are five or six emergency surgeries here and they are open 24x7. Should you need a hospital there are at least two nearby, just get a taxi as there are lots of taxi ranks around the Ovacik, Hisaronu area. You will find that people are very friendly in the whole region and anxious to help should you encounter a problem.

- Belos is one of the best kept sites in the area. It is very peaceful and an area with beautiful views and good routes for walkers. It is set in a pine forest and the local herdsmen often bring their sheep and goats through the forest to graze and if sitting on the balcony the ringing of the bells they wear warn you they are coming. Local boar are rumoured to inhabit the forest and you will find the odd horse or donkey tethered. Tortoises abound too - all shapes and sizes and all love to come into the gardens to feed on the grass and plants. There is something for everyone in this area and for those of you that want a livelier evening, Hisaronu and Olu-Deniz have plenty of bars, clubs and restaurants, all open from morning till late and tailored to the late night reveller, well into the early hours. Dolmus buses run from 06.00-02.00 in peak season. Please be respectful to your fellow villa guests when returning home late and avoid making too much noise.
