About the property

3 Ensuite Bedroom Villa With Infinity Pool and Jacuzzi

Villa Troya is situated at the end of the exclusive Kas peninsula and has breath-taking panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and over to the Greek Island of Meis. The private infinity pool with jacuzzi and spacious sea view sun terrace are perfect for soaking up the sun and enjoying the vista. The terrace is well equipped with sun beds, parasols and outside dining furniture so you can enjoy the sunsets with a drink or dine alfresco in the balmy summer evenings.

The interior is light and modern. The lower floor is open plan with a fully equipped kitchen at the far end, a dining area with seating for 6 and then a lounge area with TV and DVD player. The sliding patio doors allow direct access to the sun terrace from the kitchen, lounge or dining area. There is also a separate toilet at the entrance.

There are 3 bedrooms on the upper floor all with sea views, private balconies and en suite bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed and en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi. The second double bedroom has an en suite shower room. The third bedroom is a twin bedroom with en suite shower room. The villa is fully air conditioned and there is wi fi broadband.

Just Amazing

  • 5 of 5

Villa Troya was just beautiful - it is located right at the end of the Peninsula and had the most outstanding views. The villa is modern, stylish and very well equipped. I would have no hesitation in recommending this villa - there are a number of steps so it may not suitable somebody who is less able bodied.

There is so much on offer from sight-seeing day trips to the various Lycian historical sites, boat trips to the many small islands and for the more energetic kayaking, paragliding, scuba diving, cycling and walking…the list is long.

There are stunning beaches in the area, with the dramatic Kaputas beach a 20-minute dolmus or taxi ride towards Kalkan. It is a beautiful sandy beach found at the foot of a ravine. The waters are an amazing bright turquoise colour.

Other more local beaches worth a visit are Incebogaz, Kucuk Cakil, Buyuk Cakil, Olympos Plaj and Akcagerme Plaj.

Further afield - 55-minute journey by local dolmus or 40 minutes by car or taxi - but certainly worth a visit is the glorious 18-kilometre-long sandy Patara Beach. In 1998 it was voted the second loveliest beach in the world.

Saklikent gorge (Hidden Canyon) is a cool place on a hot day and well worth a visit. You can enjoy a fresh water trout lunch in the shades by the water and then return to Kas via the hillside town of Islamlar which has also has good fish restaurants and amazing views down to Kalkan and Patara.

Kas is situated in the ancient region of Lycia so there are also plenty of places of historical interest to explore nearby; Myra (town of St Nicholas where the legend of Father Christmas started), Xanthos (capital of the Lycian region and now UNESCO World Heritage Centre), Patara, Kekova (sunken city), Simena, Arycanda and many more...

The Greek island of Meis is a 20 minute ferry ride across the bay. There you will find a picturesque village with typical Greek architecture and several waterside tavernas and restaurants perfect for lunching. Whilst you are eating you can watch the turtles and fish swimming in the harbour. And the crystal clear turquoise waters make for a nice pre-lunch bathe.

The Area

Kas has a true cosmopolitan feel as there is a wide variety of nationality of tourist with Turkish making up approximately 60%. This ensures that Kas retains the essence of a traditional small Turkish town. There is no mass market tourism so most visitors are independent travellers and small walking or cycling groups.

There are several supermarkets in Kas for grocery supplies, a good fruit & veg shop stocked with local seasonal produce, several bakeries and fishmongers.

There is a vibrant and busy market every Friday which sells everything from clothing, iron and woodwork, bedding and rugs to fruit, veg and local cheeses and olives. There are stalls selling the traditional savoury pancakes (gozleme).

There are several historical areas in Kas with Lycian tombs scattered throughout town and the ancient amphitheatre which has been restored to its original form.

The centre of the town around the square and the old harbour has lovely narrow streets which are refreshingly shaded from the stronger summer rays. Perfect for strolling and looking around the boutiques and admiring the many bougainvillea which seem to be constantly in bloom. There are plenty of cafes and tea gardens in which you can sit and watch the world go by. The many restaurants offer a wide range and high standard of cuisine which make it very difficult to have a “favourite”.
