The villa is fully equipped for up to 6 guests. The spacious lounge is light & airy being equipped with air conditioning and a ceiling fan. All window & doors have fly screens. The flat screen cable TV has numerous channels in various languages. WiFi is provided by satellite, the WiFi key will be provided for linking up to laptops, tablets & phones. WiFi is included within the cost. Books, DVDs, CDs and iPod docking station are available.

The fully equipped kitchen includes full cooker, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave. As this is our second home, rather than just a rental property, it is fully equipped in all areas for year round occupation.

One of the bedrooms can be arranged as a king-size or two single beds, ( just let us know your preference on your booking form).

The villa has a safe & has a security alarm fitted. Separate air-conditioning units & ceiling fans are installed in all of the bedrooms .

There is a self contained laundrette that includes a toilet which can be accessed from the rear garden ( no need to walk through the villa when you are wet from the pool)

'For winter lettings' the air-conditioning units can be switched to heating mode and duvets are available for all beds. Also for extra warmth there are oil heated radiators & a gas convector.

The 11 x 6 metre pool is private, the lower terrace has sunbeds and shade provided by umbrellas. the top terrace has outdoor dining table & chairs with a large rollout sunshade when required. The BBQ is also on the top terrace.

The rear garden is also equipped with table & chairs , more shade & a clothes drying area.

All bed linen plus bath towels, hand towels, tea towels & even beach towels for by the pool are provided for you.

About Michael & Doreen Ramsbottom

We are both retired , Michael was in Engineering, design , product development & Quality Assurance, Doreen was a SRN, a District Nurse caring for all types of patients and then was a Community Nurse Manager. Both of us grew up in the Midlands. We have just celebrated our Golden Wedding and in lieu of gifts raised money for the British Heart Foundation.

After retiring we travelled down to our villa twice a year in our camper and have had some lovely holidays.

Most years we organise a group holiday, when Michael was in Rotary we organised 22 people to visit the local

club of Torrevieja. Since our retirement we have formed a bowling club in our local village of Shareshill . We now organise holidays in La Siesta for them as there are two bowling greens in the area & one within 2 minutes walk from our villa.

Why Michael & Doreen Ramsbottom chose Torrevieja Area

We first purchased a small property on La Siesta in 1984 and have watched both La Siesta and Torrevieja grow. We purchased our current property in 1987 as we both loved the area because it is on a quite residential estate with bars, restaurants and shops within a few minutes walk. Although we had a lovely garden before adding the pool , we decided a pool was an important commodity for us to enjoy the lovely climate . We have extended the villa over this period adding a third bedroom, the en suite walk in shower and the laundrette with the extra toilet.

It is a dream to spend such a lovely time here having watched the area develop.

What makes this villa unique

There are lots of bars, restaurants and minimarkets to visit within a few minutes walk and some guests choose not to hire a car. For those with a car Torrevieja has many shops and beaches etc. Zenia Boulevard is the latest shopping village.

Torrevieja promenade is a joy, especially on a Sunday evening when the Spanish promanade in their best clothes. The craft market always has something new .

"Great stuff"

I have to admit I usually look for negatives when I rarely write a review but there are really no negatives here. Villa was equiped to an excellent standard and was very clean. The owners obviously take great pride in their property. The pool area was excellent as was the shaded and sunbathing terraces. Would not often return to the same villa as I prefer a change of scenery but would make an exception with this one

"Wonderfully equipped villa and great value"

We have visited my parents on the same estate as this villa was located for the last 10 years. This villa was the best we h to date. The villa was as shown on the website. It was clean, well equipped and all the instructions were understandable and easy to follow (this has not been the case on several previous occasions). In addition Garry was on call locally, had he been needed to solve any problems.

"Fantastic villa for the whole family"

Arrived in villa Olga a few weeks ago and we were all thrilled immediately with it! Its quiet ( which we like) but 5 mins walk to fantastic restaurants! Local garage sells basics and cake shop next door sells fab bread! 5 mins walk the other way is a small water park which is fantastic for a change of scenery! The villa really is home from home! It got very hot in the day so our kids went in and watched sky! The air con was much needed! Really clean, everything we needed was there ! Will definitely be going back!!! Thanks xxxxx

"Lovely villa and pool"

We have just returned from a lovely 2 week holiday at villa Olga. The villa is lovely with everything you could need while away, we spent a lot of time outside by the pool which was especially inviting, also made full use of the BBQ. Villa is situated in a very quiet area but close enough to walk to local bars and restaurants. We also went into Torrevieja and especially liked Cabo Roig beach, can also recommend the restaurant called Cabo Roig where you can get an excellent meal while looking out over the Mediteranean. Gary was great in helping us find the villa on arrival and always just a phone call away. we did not want to leave after our holiday and are hoping to return next year

On booking we can arrange with our property manager to hire for you , child seats , travel cots, high chairs & cycles . These are paid directly to him on arrival. Airport transfers can also be arranged for you. ( paid directly to driver) Please Note - this is 45 euros per car each way for up to four people. If you decide not to hire a car the Property manager may be able to take you supermarkets for a charge. Please inform us at time of booking of any of these requests.

Very clean fully equipped and more villa , well maintained and excellent service with the gentleman who met with us for hand over, pool was very clean and well maintained I would not hesitate in recommending this villa and area for a family holiday .

Everything you need :-)

We loved this property and can't wait to go back.

It has everything you could ever need. It's clean and tidy and very spacious for 6 people.

We had some much relaxation and fun by the pool. We also loved that the pool was so private having a wall all the way round. Great if you have kids :-)

Sky TV, free wifi, free calls to UK landlines.

There are some great bars and restaurants within walking distance. The Chinese at the front of the estate is a bargain, some great little Indian restaurants, Italian, all you could want really.

We caught the bus into Torrevieja town a few nights and that was really convenient. The last bus back was 11pm (ish) so we got a taxi at around 9 euros to return back. The seafront is buzzing at night and a really nice atmosphere.

All in all, great value for money, a lovely quiet residential area so a real get away from it all but if you want a bit more buzz it's not far away.

Our home is ideal for families and couples alike. It is situated in a mature residential area of La Siesta, within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants yet less than 2 miles inland from the designer shops , International Marina and award winning beaches of Torrevieja. There are three waterparks, ( two approx 10 mins by car) one at Ciudad Quesada & one in Torrevieja plus a small waterpark within 3 minute walking distance from the villa ( open in high season ). A bus service to Torrevieja leaves La Siesta regularly. Coach trips pick up on the urbanisation for day trips to Benidorm, Benidorm Palace, Calpe and other tourist attractions e.g Terra Mitica , ask for details on booking. Local amenities include two bowling greens , one within a few minutes walk. In the parkland on La Siesta you will find a Boules area and keep fit equipment. Torrevieja is on the coast of Spain, known as the Costa Blanca. It lies between Alicante in the north and Cartagena in the south. There are numerous glorious beaches, in the Torrevieja area. La Mata, La Zenia, Playa Flamenca, Los Locos, El Cura and Lo Ferris. These are some of the best (blue flag) sandy beaches in the Mediterranean and most have entertainment area for children eg climbing frames, pedalo's , volleyball nets. There are numerous Beach Bars. Bars and restaurants that can be found all along the promenade . The beaches lend themselves to a variety of water sports like wind surfing, surfing, water skiing, jet ski's etc. The walk along the promenade in Torrevieja is one not to be missed, bars, restaurants, ice cream parlours a craft market and a nice leisurely stroll. The International Sports Marina also offers facilities for fishing, sailing and diving. You can book boat trips on the harbour to visit the Island of Tabarca or a coastal trip.The harbour also has a submarine and a customs boat that you can visit. The temperature and salt concentration in the air gives Torrevieja a special health-bringing climate which has been recommended by health personnel all over the world. The "salt Lakes of Torrevieja" ( Las Salinas) are the second biggest in the world. The lagoons have been designated as national parks and are an impressive sight, attracting more than 250 bird species including flamingoes. Torrevieja has 320 sun days a year, and 18 degree of an average temperature. Torrevieja has the same average day temperature as the Canary Islands.

Take the Lemon Express tourist train from Alicante to Denia. For Culture The local restaurant 'Vila Salada' provides a flamenco & horse show and have riding facilties. Torrevieja used to be the home port of the largest fleet of sailing boats in the Mediterranean and still boasts one of Spain's best yacht clubs, with berths for 1,500 boats. In fact the town provides first class facilities for lovers of all sports - there are golf clubs, a flying club, a variety of water sports and the municipal stadium with an athletics track, sauna and covered courts for tennis and a variety of other sports including an Olympic size swimming pool.

Fiestas are held here most months of the year when tourists mingle with the locals to party in the streets in true Spanish-style. The 'Ferria' takes place in May, Flamenco and horse parades. Torrevieja Feria is the second biggest in Spain (next to Seville) and is televised on national television. June is the month for Moors and Christians displays take place in many towns and villages.

Visit in August and you'll be able to enjoy the weeklong "Habaneras" festival - a major international music competition which attracts a live and television audience of hundreds of thousands of people. Las Habaneras are a celebration of the Latin American music and rhythms brought to Torrevieja in the 19th century through the port's salt-trading links with Cuba.
