ideally situated beautiful little traditional house

Marco was there to meet us when we arrived and was on hand if we had any problems without being intrusive

the house is a real gem situated in the old residential area of the town just a 2 minute walk from the ferry to the beach and with lots of bars and restaurants within a few 100 metres

the roman bridge was a 10 minute saunter away with all the really great restaurants and bars

we ate in a few times during our stay and found everything on hand to create some great meals

The house is perfect for a couple or a small family as there is a futon bed outside the main bedroom and also there are two day beds in the lounge area

overall a great little property for those with a taste for an authentic

traditional get away

Phenomenal!

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at this property in Tavira, on our first trip to Portugal. Marco was gracious throughout all of our conversations and we immediately felt comfortable booking his property. The flat was perfect and the location ideal. It was close to restaurants, the Mercado with local vendors, the river, the ferry to the islands...we could not have asked for a more convenient location! We did not have a vehicle and found ourselves within walking distance of everything we would ever need to access. We would definitely stay here again and do not hesitate to recommend the flat to anyone looking to spend some time in paradise :)

The house was lovely and very central. It had everything except a hair dryer!

Tavira is a lovely old town with lots of good restaurants and sights. It was a bit awkward getting the ferry to and from the beach..it took about 1/2 an hour each way because of waiting for the ferry etc. Beautiful beach with lots of restaurants and facilities.

What a great Place to stay in Tavira

We stayed in this house in Mid September. The house is in a great location 5 minutes from the main square with its shops and restaurants and 2 minutes walk to the ferry that takes you to the beach. We found the house to be spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you will need for a very pleasant stay, a real home from home. Marco the owner is only 20 mins away if you need any help with anything. We will definatly be returning soon and be recommending it to our friends and family. Thanks for a great stay Marco.

Authentic Portuguese beach house

We had a great stay - the property is well located and you can access everything on foot - restaurants and cafes, the castle, the square, countless little cobblestone alleys, and the ferry to the beach. The apartment is well stocked with everything you need, and the roof deck is a fantastic perk. Marco was helpful and available if we needed anything. Definitely hope we can come back to this wonderful place!

Ein schönes, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Häuschen im lebendigen alten Zentrum

Die unmittelbare Nähe zur Fähre zur Ilha war von Vorteil. Der Haushalt des Häuschens war bestens ausgestattet. Lediglich eine Teekanne haben wir vermisst. Besonders gut hat uns die Dachterrasse gefallen. Da wir die Letzten in der Season waren, hat die Sauberkeit etwas gelitten. Obwohl städtisches Umfeld hat sich eine Zikate in unmittelbare Nähe verirrt und uns in der Nacht den Schlaf geraubt. Was ein solches Tierchen einen Lärm machen kann! Da es aber genug Schlafgelegenheiten gab, konnten wir ein ruhigeres Plätzchen finden.
