Best kept secret of the Algarve

Very nice apartment, not only the view at the ocean, but also the views to the nearby city's are amazing. A 180° view to dream of. We were only withnthe two of us so having two bathrooms is a luxury and everything was very well maintained. The kitchen is fully equiped and everythingbis nice and clean. Jochen and Marie are very friendly and have a great personal input and approach. We felt home since the beginning. Nice was it also that they had forseen icecold beverages when we arrived. Excellent apartment with stunning views

We had one of our best holidays to Portugal so far and that was thanks to the owners Marie & Jochem who were so warm & welcoming. They arranged our taxi driver who gave us a lovely welcome to Portugal. They were there to greet us at the apartment and show us all its features. Their personal touch really went to make the difference in making us feel so welcome to their property. The apartment is very clean & comfortable and the view from the large balcony is incredible - it should give you a 'Wow' when you step onto it, day or night. The apartment has a well equipped kitchen if you want to cook, there is an iron, washing machine, dish washer, microwave - everything you would need. This is a quiet location so is peaceful and relaxing but only a short taxi ride to either Albufeira town or Vilamoura Marina if you wanted more entertainment for the night time. The apartment is in a great location - turn right to the beach or left down the road and into the small town. . Both are approximately 5 minutes away. To the beautiful beach you go down a hill and then down steps to the beach - I travelled with my parents who are in their 70's and they just took their time and managed the walk very well. You can hire beds & shades on the beach or the apartment has beach covers which you can use. There is no bar on the beach but there is one at the top of the steps - food/drink/toilets facilities. The beaches are flat, sandy and beautiful. Turning left out of the apartment will bring you down the road and into the square where there are a good selection of restaurants, shops and a well equipped supermarket plus ATM. We stayed for a week and were very happy to go to the beach in the day and to the local square at night and tried the various restaurants and bought a few hats and sarongs!!!! And a few bottles of Portuguese wine - delicious!. I would recommend this apartment to anyone. I always say life is too short to return to the same place twice but I would be very happy to return to this apartment. Thank you Marie & Jochem.

Fabulous apartment and a view to die for

We had a fantastic holiday here in February. The apartment is in an exclusive quiet condominium with a lovely pool, right on the cliff tops overlooking the fabulous falesia beach. Really a view to die for, from the balcony. A huge light airy living room overlooking the sea and cliffs. The flat is well equipped with two comfortable bedrooms and great beds, a bathroom and kitchen. The great bonus was central heating and air con which kept it cosy on chilly nights. Marie and Jochen are a friendly lovely couple, welcoming, extremely helpful and on hand at all times to help. They were fab. The apartment was sparkling clean and believe me, I am fussy!! Our cleaner Debbie is a lovely lady and did a five star job at the apartment. Overall a fantastic holiday experience, we have been coming to Falesia/Acoteias since 1988 and this is the best apartment and quietest most exclusive condominium, we have stayed in. We have already booked up for May and we can't wait !! Jane and Paul
