Newquay Cornwall - Apartment In Peaceful Location Overlooking Boating Lake.

This one bedroom apartment has been completely renovated for 2015. It occupies a fantastic location with views across the park and Boating Lake. Just a few minutes walk away you'll find Newquay Zoo, Tennis Courts, Crazy Golf, a Leisure Centre and a Miniature Railway. On the park is a tea room heading towards the zoo and across from the apartment is a popular café which becomes a very busy restaurant in the evening. Just a few more minutes walk and you will be in Newquay centre where you can explore one or all 5 of the lovely beaches with plenty of activities including surf schools. Head down to Lusty Glaze to try jet skiing, abseiling and many more or walk down to Newquay Harbour and book a sea safari trip where you might see the dolphins. Newquay town has various shops, pubs, and restaurants including Frankie and Benny's and Walkabout.

The apartment is modern, clean, comfortable, has it's own parking space and the perfect base to return to after a day of exploring Cornwall. The open plan living area is a perfect family space with a door opening on to the balcony but has the privacy of a separate bedroom. There is room for 4 with a double bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area which is ideal for 2 children or one adult. It comes very well equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, tv/dvd combined, cable tv, wifi, washing machine, maiden, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board should you need them. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and a under sink cabinet.

Clean, tidy and great location

The flat locates in a nice and quiet location where it takes only 15 minutes to walk, including 5 minutes walking up hill, to the beach and town as finding a parking space in Newquay town centre during good weather is not easy as everyone would like to go to the beach.

The flat itself is clean and tidy. We had a small issue with the bed sheet on the first day of arriving. We texted the owner about the issue and the owner sent someone over to sort it out. Excellent service.

I can pick on something I don't like about the flat such as sofa bed is not as comfortable as a bed. Or the flat is a bit warm during hot nights as it has south facing windows and balcony. But these are not complains at all.

For our family, it is 5* flat and we had a lovely time there.

Lovely Apartment.

Lovely apartment overlooking the lake. Perfect base for exploring Cornwall.

Good TV & Wi-Fi coverage, very well kitted out, has just about everything you need to just move in for your stay.

Very informative welcome book left in the drawer along with plenty of leaflets for local attractions.

Little Lakeside cafe on the doorstep.

Well worth the walk up the hill to The Tavern Inn, where they serve the most amazing food.

If I had to criticise anything, it would be the plant that tries to scratch your car in the allocated parking space (and of course the good old British weather :) ).

We would gladly highly recommend this apartment to anybody.

relax and enjoy

This apartment came exactly as stated on the tin, well equipped super clean and in a lovely location. It is not suitable if you have difficulty negotiating stairs but for the relatively fit people it is ideal.

Prior to arriving I had a few queries which were all answered swiftly and satisfactorily by the owner.

Well worth considering for a visit and I hope to use it again in the future.
