Spotlessly clean throughout, this lovely spacious 3 bedroom home provides a welcome breath of fresh air within this beautiful region renowned for it's location within the Yorkshire Dales.

The huge advantage of Number 36 is the accessibility to Skipton town centre on foot. Just a 5 minute stroll takes you to the award winning High Street where you can enjoy all the delights of this lovely market town. There's something extremely satisfying about rounding off a morning or evening stroll through Skipton Woods or along the canal with a hearty meal at one of the many restaurants and pubs in the town centre, catering for all tastes and budgets.

But why not hire a bike and venture further afield? A wide choice of mountain or road bikes are available for hire, just a 5 minute walk from Number 36. Fill your day with a leisurely jaunt along the canal to the pretty villages of Gargrave or Bradley, or lose yourself on the meandering country lanes or bridleways around Malham and Bolton Abbey.

As the jewel in the crown of this beautiful region, Skipton is the perfect location from which to explore.

North Yorkshire is of course a walkers paradise, where you can stroll through the lush green fields of Wharfedale, or a hill walk directly from Number 36 with spectacular views of Skipton's stunning countryside.

But this is also 3 Peaks country where you can attempt one of the most challenging hikes in the UK, twenty five miles over 3 mountains, Penyghent, Whernside & Ingleborough.

Regardless, you can return to Number 36, freshen up in the shower then relax back at base, before dining at one of Skipton's numerous award winning restaurants and pubs, or just eat in making use of the well equipped kitchen.

Afterwards you can sit and chat at the table or spread out on the sofa; maybe catch up with your favourite TV programs, (Smart TV), watch a DVD or play a game in our lovely bay windowed lounge.

We really have spared no expense in equipping and furnishing Number 36 - enjoy!

About Beverley Bell

We have lived in and around Skipton for the past 23 years and purchased Number 36 three years ago as our family home, before deciding that we believed it would make a fantastic holiday home due to it's size and location.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside and the Yorkshire Dales on the doorstep we feel it has lots to offer for a great holiday or short break. The Dales provide one of the best walking areas in the country and as keen walkers ourselves we get our boots on whenever time allows.

We live nearby and lovingly look after Number 36 ourselves, to ensure it is furnished, maintained and cleaned to a very high standard.

We have been married for 35 years and have 2 grown up sons.

We are now proud granparents to our grandson Stanley, born 10th May 2017.

We bought this property just over 6 years ago and have upgraded and modernised it, then decided that it would make a superb holiday let, as it is something we have always wanted to do. We have tried to make the property as family or couple friendly as we could, and also the position of the property makes it an ideal location to explore Skipton and the fabulous surrounding areas.

The rooms are all of a generous proportion with leather and fabric sofas in the light and airy lounge, and a wood floor compliments both the dining room and entrance hall.

We have decorated the inside and outside sympathetically and really believe this will be one of the premier holiday lets in Skipton.

Surrounded by idyllic Dales Countryside, known locally as 'The Gateway to the Dales' and situated just a 5 minute easy walk from Skipton's award winning High Street, with it's excellent shopping and recreational facilities.

There are plenty of pubs, restaurants and takeaways in the town centre to suit all budgets, and countless coffee shops and tea rooms to choose from.

Skipton is served by 3 supermarkets within walking distance, and also just out of town is Keelham Farm shop and Aldi

We do not have any prefered start or finish days and are very flexible, please enquire. Check our website at skiptonholidaysnumber36.com. Strictly no smoking in Number 36 please, but smoking allowed outside. All linen and towels provided, changed if staying longer than 7 days. This property is adjoined to other properties, so is not suitable as a party house. Wood is provided for the log burner. There is ample on street parking near to Number 36. A deposit of 20% is payable on booking, balance due 8 weeks prior to start date. Arrival time 4pm, departure by 10.30am. (earlier arrivals if no guests leaving that day), please ring before arrival to see if earlier arrival can be accommodated. 3 day short breaks available, please enquire, or contact us for any further details. #36 is located in the heart of Skipton, a beautiful Yorkshire market town, making access to all amenities including the Dales a breeze. The refurbishment and attention to detail, show the pride and interest of the owners Bev and Andrew. Whether you are holidaying or have business to attend in the area, do not overlook this property, you will not be disapointed!

Perfect base from which to explore Skipton and the Dales

Andrew and Bev's house is centrally located, very clean, and the perfect place to stay as a base from which to explore Skipton and the Yorkshire Dales. They are very through with the information provided; they thought of everything! (And even left us some delicious chocolate fudge for us to enjoy). They are accomplished hosts and have the answer to every question you can think of thoughtfully laid out in a guest binder. I would definitely recommend their vrbo. Great place to stay and great hosts!

Great location. Very Homely.

Lovely house - even nicer than it looks in the pictures. Perfect location to explore but close to the town centre for pubs/restaurants etc. House was clean and tidy and we were provided with tea/coffee etc and a lovely bottle of red which was a nice touch!

Fantastic house and conveniently located

A great stay in a superb house, the pictures do not do it justice. It was lovely to be met by Andrew and Bev with the added bonus of biscuits and a bottle of wine. Lots of places to see and do all within easy reach. A good choice of pubs and restaurants, we found Brody's Italian very welcoming when we celebrated a family birthday at the end of the week. We would highly recommend this house to explore the Dales and will hopefully return ourselves.

With countless activities within an easy walk, or a short drive, Skipton really is the place for the perfect break.

Just a walk from the front door you can get to Skipton's Medieval Castle, The High Street with it's market 4 days a week, The Craven Court covered shopping centre, a trip on the Leeds - Liverpool canal, Aireville Park and Leisure Centre and swimming pool, beautiful walks through the Castle woods and along the canal side and a huge selection of pubs and restaurants to suit all budgets. With the Train station only a 10 minute walk the larger cities of Leeds and Bradford are only a 45 minute ride away.

Take the car and you will soon be in amazing countryside. Visits to Grassington for it's Festival and Xmas markets, Malham for the Cove and Tarn, Kilnseys famous Crag and Trout Farm, Howarth to visit Bronte Country, Harewood House and Newby Hall are super houses to visit as are the Spa towns of Ilkley and Harrogate, where you can also visit RHS Harlow Carr Gardens.

Just about 1.5hours away is the walled city of York with it's world famous minster, as is the Lake District, which offers it's own unique attractions.
