Fantastic stay!

  • 5 of 5

This is a really lovely property and the owners are so welcoming and leave flowers, biscuits and fruit on arrival! Great location to be able to visit both Loch Lomond and Edinburgh. We really enjoyed our stay.

We spent six nights at Ailsa's villa. It was clean and well equipped. Ideal for families with small children.

Nice neighborhood, neighbors, exquisitely clean and lovely amenities

  • 5 of 5

It was really nice to have our hosts meet us at the door when we arrived. They showed us around and gave us guidance on using things that saved lots of time. Our kids loved having bikes available to them and got great use out of them exploring the town. The home was very clean and neat and the hosts provided everything we could possibly need. The lagniappe of Dean's and fruits was much appreciated. The neighborhood is quiet and we spoke with a number of neighbors who made us feel at home. Callander is a great small town and sets up as a nice hub to get anywhere in Central Scotland very easily. We visited Stirling, Doune, Dollar (Castle Campbell was a hit), Fort William (don't miss Stealls Falls), Glencoe and the Trossachs (Loch Katrine and Ben A'an), but could have been happy just hanging around Callander. Still lots to see so we hope to be back!

A real home away from home.

  • 5 of 5

Thoroughly enjoyed our week in Callander. The owners have thought about everything. The house is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need and lots more. Great wifi. Located in a quiet street just minutes from the High Street. Callander is a great location for sight seeing. Can recommend a visit to the Kelpies and Helix Park and Falkirk Wheel where you can also do a Segway safari which is great fun , Edinburgh is under an hours drive away - we parked at the park and ride at Ingliston and caught the tram into the centre of Edinburgh. Callander itself has plenty to offer - Lovely walk up to the Bracklinn Falls and a pretty strenuous but enjoyable walk to the top of the crags. Nice little crazy golf course in the park across the road from the Tesco Express. Also a Coop and lots of independent shops. Can highly recommend.

Fabulous property and great value for money

  • 5 of 5

Excellent spotless property with everything provided. It was cosy and warm in the cold february weather.

Everything was thought off and everything provided was excellent quality. Beds were so comfortable too.

Great location and spacious enclosed garden for the dog.

We loved staying here and would definitely stay there again and will recommend to friends too. Very sad to leave

Stayed here December 2017. Ailsa welcomed us. House had everything we needed and more. Lots of room, warm and very comfortable. Loads of information on the area. We visited Fort William, Glencoe, Loch Lomond, loch Fyne Oyster bar, Edinburgh and enjoyed a great Hogmanay ceilidh in the town. Absolutely loved our holiday and the owners of the property were so very helpful and made us so welcome. We will definitely go back . Great.
