About the property

Penthouse apartment with a large roof terrace with a sun canopy (large toldo covers half the terrace) sun loungers, table and 4 chairs.

There is also a washing machine, a two ring cooker and sink built into aluminium units on the sun terrace.

The apartment is furnished to a high standard with a new Ikea kitchen; it has a ceramic hob, oven and fridge freezer, the units have granite tops.

There are two new bathrooms. Both have showers and toilet no bath.

It is a gated community with a shared pool. It has a shallow end for young children and there is a lifeguard on duty in July and August.The grounds are immaculately kept with grass areas for sunbathing.

There is an easy facing balcony off the airy lounge.

There is one double bedroom and one twin bedroom.

The lounge has a small dining area for when you don't want to dine on the roof terrace.

There is air conditioning in the lounge and one bedroom and a ceiling fan in the other bedroom.

There is a 42inch flat screen plasma TV with full UK TV.

We have an English contact person if you have any problems when there.

It is a 5 minute stroll to the supermarket, bars, restaurants and shops on the 525 plaza square and all the restaurants and bars have free WiFi. There is also a currency exchange with very competitive rates.

The long sandy Blue Flag beach and promenade of the child friendly Mar Menor is a 15 min walk away.

The airport at Murcia (San Javier) is ten minutes away and Alicante airport is 45 minutes away.

Airport transfers can be arranged at a very reasonable rate. A car is not necessary for this holiday unless you want to go the the golf courses or go sightseeing a bit further afield to Cartagena or Murcia. But a taxi will take you to the local golf courses and there are local buses.

About The Owner

We purchased our apartment after visiting the area for a few years. We love travelling but this place is our home from home that is so easy to travel to as it is so near the airport at San Javier Murcia. Just ten minutes by car or taxi. We are a retired teacher and joiner who have travelled to Spain many times with our children and grandchildren so it's nice to be able to make more memories year by year in our own place.

A much needed break!

A very nice property in a short walking distance of the local resturants and bars. Facilities in the appartment are very good with new kitchen area and bathrooms; however we did stuggle with the heat in the second bedroom as there is no airconditioning in that room. We did purchase a floor standing fan which helped the situaution and we have left this in the appartment for future use by others. As the appartment is on the second floor, anyone who has difficulty climbing stairs should bear this in mind. The roof top terrace is a great asset to the appartment with plenty of room for beds and good facilities for preparing food and dining. The washing machine was also very useful during our two week stay.

The only word to sum this apartment up is :- EXCELLENT

Location Excellent. Just 5 Min stroll to Mercadona sprmkt and 525 Plaza with its many restaurants, Bars and some shops. Beach is a 10 min walk.

Apartment Excellent. It’s larger than normal lounge for this type of apt and semi open plan kitchen makes it very relaxing.

The bedrooms are light and airy with plenty of storage space

All doors and windows have fitted insect screens and can be left open to keep you cool

The two bathrooms have been furnished to a high standard with plenty of drawer space and large mirrored cupboards above the sinks well lit, good quality towels with tabs on and hangers to hang them on is a nice touch.

The small glassed in front patio is an excellent place to sit at any time of day out of the sun The Solarium on the roof is very usable because a third of the area has a sun shade which can be drawn across and has plenty of furniture and sun bed pads etc.

For TV buffs there are all the main English channels and quite a lot of movie channels all enjoyable on the large flat screen TV. There are also instructions located in the appropriate places to assist you

Absolutely Lovely..

Lovely property in Los Alcazares.Really homely and everything you need is in the spacious two bedroom apartment.Just a 5 minute walk will take you to the large supermarket and the main square area and 10 minutes to the Promenade/Beach area. The highlight of this charming property has to be the roof top solarium where you can laze in the sun and dine alfresco.We had a really nice stay here and would certainly recommend it to anyone thinking of staying here.We ourselves will certainly return here on our next visit to the area.

comfortable, homely apartment in an excellent location

Stayed in April 2017 for 7 nights. Immaculate pool area, short walk to the shops, restaurants and beach. The owner of this property is exceptionally helpful and all communications and arrangements went very smoothly. Very close to the Airport, but no obtrusive noise. The whole district is very flat, making for easy walking and cycling.
