1 minute walk to the beach, perfect for couples. Pool, A/C. wifi available

Refurbished to a high standard, our 1 bedroom apartment is ideally situated in a prime position in the highly sought after eastern side of Nerja, close to the Parador.

The apartment has a double bedroom and a bathroom with full suite.

The kitchen is newly refurbished and fitted with quality appliances and granite worktops including large size fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, full size oven/hob plus dishwasher and washing machine.

The lounge is modern, bright and airey, decorated in relaxing, neutral tones. It has a wall mounted flat screen TV with English freeview channels , wifi is available at a small suplement. There is also a comfortable bed setee. There's a dining area seating four.

The large corner balcony is accessed by patio doors from both the bedroom and sitting room. From one side there is a side sea view, and from the other side a view of the Sierra Almijara mountains, Nerja's stunning backdrop. The secluded communal pool and grassy sunbathing area overlook the breathtakingly beautiful Carabeo beach directly below, with views extending over the Med. Perfect for a romantic getaway in the heart of Nerja.The apartment has had airconditioning fitted in the lounge and bedroom and is included in the price. Small supplement for wifi.

Parking: On street parking is available outside the apartment, or there is a large car park a 1 minute walk away. Car hire isn't necessary for getting around Nerja due to the apartment's excellent central location, so you may prefer to opt for private airport transfers instead. Please enquire for details.

Twin centre holiday: Our property in Competa: Why not spend a week in the mountains and a week by the coast? We have a lovely little 2 bedroom house in the mountain village of Competa (property number 15332 on Holiday Rentals). Competa is beautifully situated in the foothills of Sierra Almijara mountain range, on the border of the Sierra de Tejeda National Park. Being almost 700 m above sea level stunning views abound. Competa is, however, only 16kms from the coast. Nerja, Malaga and Granada, as well as countless idyllic villages, are within easy reach by car. There are some fantastic walks in the area (for all level of fitness). Malaga airport is about an hours drive away. The house has a private roof terrace with breathtaking views of the village and surrounding countryside, extending down to the Mediterranean. Transfers between Nerja and Competa can be arranged.

Luxury house: Our other property in Nerja: We also have a larger property available in Nerja, a luxury 1 /2 or 3 bedroom house with lots of outdoor space and great views (property number 91595 on Holiday Rentals). We are flexible with change over days in the house and apartment.

Wonderful experience

We spent the week after Xmas in this beautiful apartment and it really was home from home, everything the owner described and promised was exactly so.

As other reviews detail, the location is about perfect in what is a very relaxed and fairly unspoilt resort.

As a landlord of property in the UK myself, it was an inspiration to see the pride and high regard which this property is so obviously held with.

I would not hesitate to return or recommend the whole experience to family & friends.

A credit to you Julie, good luck in the future, you deserve it.

Wonderful holiday

We loved the apartment from the moment we arrived at the outside gate. It is in a beautiful setting and our favourite residential part of Nerja. The grounds are lovely and very well maintained, the pool area is very pretty and has such wonderful views. The apartment was clean, tidy and very well maintained and had everything we needed - the bed is very comfortable. The colour schemes are lovely and very restful.There is a wonderful, large balcony from which you can choose to look at the sea, the streets or the mountains depending where you choose to sit. We contacted Lisa - who looks after the apartment for Julie- about something and received a very prompt and efficient service from her.

Having been to Nerja before we felt confident to travel from the airport on public transport and this is very cheap and efficient but not easy if you don't know the area. If it is your first trip to Nerja I would advise you book the taxi service that Julie can arrange.

There is a beautiful, small beach directly below the apartment which is very quiet. We love Burriana Beach so walked down the steps to the small beach then walked around the rocks to Burriana each day. This only takes a few minutes but you do need to be able to do some climbing if the sea is having a rough day!

There are so many lovely places to eat all across Nerja and the apartment is perfectly placed to explore them all. Via the road/sloping paths you can be at Burriana Beach restaurants in 10 minutes. In the opposite direction you can be in the old town centre and The Balcon in 10 minutes too.

We have loved our holiday and would recommend this apartment to anyone. We hope to return very soon.

Brilliant accommodation and well located

Owner and managers great to deal with and very helpful. Not everywhere would arrange to collect you from the airport and have your shopping in the kitchen on arrival! Apartment clean and spacious- and we had our 4 year old with us- and centrally located, less than half a mile from the Balcon d'Europe. We had a fantastic holiday. Thank you.

Just had the best holiday ever here..from the moment we walked in I relaxed..everything we needed,immaculate and in great location.pool and garden is lovely and the beach is a stones throw away.didnt use air/con as there were 2 big fans (a bonus) and we made full use of the coolbag!! balcony is a relaxing suntrap and very spacious ..so many good things to say and not one bad thing..tip-little Italy and La Dama for amazing cheap food.thankyou Julie for letting us use your apartment ..Anna and Ned.Midlands

Lovely apartment in superb location

A lovely apartment in a superb location at the top of Carabeo, A very short walk (1 min) to a lovely little beach with stunning views of the mountains and a 5 minute stroll to the Balcon de Europa and the many shops/ restaurants.

We used the airport transfer and shopping service which was a great help, taxis arrived on time and shopping waiting for us when we arrived.

All in all a great holiday - thanks Julie,Simon and Lisa.
