Accommodation comprises of 1 x king size bedroom with french doors out to garden and 1 x twin bedroom. Brand new family bathroom with shower over. The living room has seating for 4 and a dining area also for 4. French doors from here also lead out to garden garden which wraps itself around the whole house giving you garden to the front and rear of the property. Pretty and well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar looking out to the garden. Lawned garden with sheds, enclosed Off street parking.

Very enjoyable stay, although weather could have been better. Cottage cosy but still needs a few more home comforts. The garden was good, the cottage is only a few steps from the beach and crab and lobster where you can sit out and enjoy a drink with views across the bay.

Keeping it a secret

Took a little finding as hidden behind a fence but well worth the search. We weren't travelling by car and found out later we could have made much easier arrangements for picking up and dropping off keys, so bear this in mind when you're communicating with Annabel- our fault entirely. I must say communication on Annabel's part was excellent. The cottage was small but perfectly formed. Like something out of a House Beautiful magazine. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc. The shower worked well and the secure wrap around garden was great for the dog. Well heated and insulated, we were never cold. The dog loved the nearby beach. Nice to have a pub (Crab and Lobster) so close but we were so busy we only went there on the first night. Enjoyed The Spinnaker as well. No noise from the pub despite being so close. The people on the Isle of Wight were so friendly. We bought a weekly bus pass and travelled all over the island. Most places were dog friendly. The bus stop was about a 10 minute walk from the cottage. There was also a local Welcome (Co-op shop) about 10 minutes walk away. Bembridge village centre was about a 20 minute walk away and was full of lots of unique shops. Also The Shed restaurant which was good for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. They did food and coffees. Again dog friendly. Don't hesitate to book, you won't regret it. Just don't book when I want to go!

Fantastic location, perfect for young families

We are regular visitors to the IOW so know the location well. Isbael is located right next to the Crab & Lobster pub (friendly, quiet and family orientated) and a stones throw from the sea. Within 2 minutes you can be relaxing at the Beach Hut with a Crab sandwich. The property is comfortable, cosy and well decorated old fisherman's cottage. We had two children in tow (2 & 5 years) and yet there was still plenty of room. The gardens are being done up and next year will not doubt be fantastic, right now they are still a lovely place to sit outside in your own private space. They are secluded and secure, perfect for our little ones. All in all a wonderful holiday property.

Fabulouse tucked away little cottage

Stayed at this pretty little cottage for a week with baby and dogs. What a lovely find. Tucked away along a little lane leading to the local pub this cottage has parking and an enclosed garden, perfect for kids and dogs. 2 gates lead to the pub and to the footpaths which lead down to the beach. A spot of lunch or dinner can be had at the pub, The Crab and Lobster open all year, and The Beach Hut café March - Sept. The cottage itself is small and compact. 2 lovely bedrooms and a lounge, kitchen and bathroom. All recently refurbished. Front door to front garden and 2 sets of French doors to the back. Great new central heating meant is was warm and cosy on cold days and then when the sun came out, we opened the French doors. The house has everything you need. Bring a car, dogs and kid and a few clothes and you'll have a great time. And despite it's close location to the pub, it's so quiet. Washing line, garden furniture, broadband, telly with a DVD built in. Dishwasher. Washing machine. Perfect. We miss it already. We'll definitely be back. Thank you.

perfect location

We have stayed in the Bembridge area many times in various accomadation. This cottage has to be the best so far. Clean, fresh and good quality fittings. The location was fantastic, with direct access to the beach and with a great pub in the garden. We have booked again for next year.
