Luxury 4-bedroom property with stunning views and infinity pool

In the heart of the Parc Régional du Luberon, "La Jameela" enjoys an exceptional location. Built into the hillside, facing south-west, the house has wonderful, panoramic views of the Luberon, the Mont de Vaucluse hills, and the renowned village of Gordes. The environment is secluded, private and very quiet, yet the house is just 500 metres from the centre of the fascinating village of Roussillon listed as “one of the most beautiful villages in France”. Roussillon is a village with all amenities and numerous cafés and restaurants.

The house built to very high standards in 2007, is fully air conditioned and includes 250 m² with 4 bedrooms each with en suite bathroom, WC. The living-rooms and bedrooms are all south-facing so as to enjoy to the utmost the beautiful views. The terraced garden of 2000 m² covers three different levels. On the second level is the 11 x 5 m infinity swimming-pool surrounded by paved terraces. On the third level is a boules court.

Spacious, open sitting and dining room with fire-place, and direct access to the large terrace and top level garden, and superb open-plan fully equipped kitchen including hob, double oven, separate grill, microwave oven, dishwasher, large capacity fridge. The adjacent laundry/utility room has a freezer, washing-machine and dryer.

Best stay ever

An absolutely flawless stay. This was the second time we rented this beautiful home, and everything was perfect. The view, the location, the pool, the house itself were all like a film set, except it was all real. If we are fortunate enough to be able to return to La Jameela, we most certainly will. I have no hesitation in recommending this property.

The village of Roussillon is listed as 'one of the most beautiful villages in France'. The 'Parc Régional du Luberon' in the heart of Provence offers glorious scenery with breath-taking views ideal for walkers and hikers, is a well-known area for wine, and has countless places of historical and cultural interest to visit. The most famous sites and towns to visit in Provence such as Aix en Provence, Avignon, Arles, Les Baux de Provence and St Rémy and many others, are all within a 30 to 90 minute drive.

The Parc Régional du Luberon is a very lovely, protected area about 45 minutes east of Avignon. It is a region often compared with Tuscany in Italy. The beauty of the countryside, the spectacular views from the hill-top villages, several of which are listed as being amongst the most beautiful villages in France, and the general historical and cultural interest of the region make it one of the most renowned areas in France.

Avignon, Orange and Aix en Provence are all no more than an hour away with their famous theatre and music festivals in July. The charming market town of L’Isle sur la Sorgue with its vast antique market is just 20 minutes away, in fact the innumerable sites and places to visit in Provence are all within easy access. The Cote d'Azur and the Camargue are only a one and half hour drive away.
