About Hazel

I manage the property for my Mum who has recently lost my Dad to cancer (February 2017) who is retired and obviously has a lot of taste! My husband and I and our two young children live in a quiet area on Anglesey but are only 30 minutes or a phone call away if you need anything.

Hazel purchased this house in 2015

Why Hazel chose Conwy

Living in North Wales myself and enjoying the beaches and countryside, I believe there is no better place to visit and have a holiday which has everything. Conwy itself has a castle, museums, shops, pubs, bistros and restaurants. Llandudno which is a short drive away, has even more to offer. The house is modern and relaxing and you won't find better value for money.

What makes this house unique

We call the house Periwinkle after my son (Perry). It is a short walk through the ginnel to the beautiful marina and the Mulberry pub with the beach and golf club at the end of the road. What more can I say?! You can see Conwy mountain from the bedroom window and it is surrounded by places to visit either on foot or a short drive. I often stay at Periwinkle on my own with the children and have always felt immediately at home there and secure.

Lovely little house

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at Periwinkle for our son's 6th birthday. The house itself is clean, comfortable and has everything you could need. Well-stocked kitchen (loads of plates, bowls and even salt and pepper which was really handy), comfy furniture and some books/DVDs for a rainy day. The location is a great base for visiting lots of places (Greenwood Forest Park and the Fforest Coaster at Zipworld were our favourites, both being less than 1/2 hour away) and there's a really nice beach just a few mins' walk round the corner. We'll definitely be staying here again!

Cosy, comfortable home from home in a great location!

  • 5 of 5

Enjoyed a relaxing few days in this cosy home from home. Well equipped and comfortable in a great location on the outskirts of the lovely town of Conwy. Easy to get onto the A55 to go off visiting other parts of North Wales.

Delicious home made cake to welcome us on arrival and all instructions pre visit etc were clear and helpful.

Very clean and cosy. Noise form traffic was minimal. Good location

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful walk in the Conwy Hills. Scenery fantastic. The walk from the house to the beach only takes a few minutes, great scenery. Also a pub nearby which we found out on our last evenings stroll (that was a shame).

Conwy a little place to walk around, nice shops and take away foods. Very accessible to visit Snowdonia. In all a great place to stay.

Lovely comfortable, well equipped house. Perfect

  • 5 of 5

I stayed with my daughter and grandchildren ages 5 & 8. Periwinkle is a lovely house and well equipped. The children loved their nautical themed bedroom. A short walk to the harbour and Mulberry pub. We had a couple of rainy days and we were quite content to spend the time in the house, quite cosy !!

Hazel the owner was lovely to correspond with and went above and beyond with a small situation we had regarding washing! We'd left a few items of my granddaughters in the washer, Hazel very kindly packaged them up and returned them to us!! A lovely cake was waiting on arrival too.

Perfect little holiday house 😊

Lovely modern property great location

  • 4 of 5

This is a well equipped property that is good for both families and couples. Bedrooms are spacious and the conservatory makes the downstairs feel specious too. Kitchen well equipped and having a washer dryer very useful with young children. Ideally located to reach all North Wales. The only downside is the proximity to the main road which means you hear quite a lot of traffic noise at night.

Owner's Response: Hi Susan and thanks for your lovely comments about Periwinkle. I am so glad you had a good stay! I take on board what you say about the noise from the traffic. Since your stay, I have added a ceiling fan to the main bedroom which means guests can sleep in comfort without having the window open. I know that the house can get extremely hot, especially in the summer months and hopefully, this will help with that too. Hazel
