It is perfect for 2 people, and sofa bed for additional persons. You will find dishwasher, microwave, television and WiFi, sauna for 2 people, supermarket 5 min away by car; Montreux and Switzerland 20 min away, Evian-les-Bains 10 mn away, nice walks, charming village. Famous people such as J.J. Rousseau, Michel Simon loved this village. This is the perfect apartment for musicians, great tuned piano (by me). You can play at anytime.

A charming and very well appointed apartment in Meillerie overlooking Lake Léman (Lake Geneva)

Mr Kupfer could not have been a kinder or more helpful host, even to the extent of driving me in the pouring rain on the day we arrived to the nearest supermarket to buy groceries. The apartment is perfectly positioned to enjoy the lake in all its moods and colours. Evian-les-Bains is a very attractive town close by and we visited it several times. But to take full advantage of a holiday in Meillerie, a car is essential unless you have money to burn on taxis, because Meillerie has no train service and the bus service is not good. But despite mixed weather and these limitations, we had a very enjoyable holiday.

Fantastic location

We loved this apartment and found Leo very helpful. The setting is fab with a gorgeous terrace overlooking the lake which you can hear gently lapping at night from the bedroom. Everything was clean and ready for us. We actually paid a little more and our son stayed on the sitting room sofa bed which he said was very comfortable. The nearby restaurant was lovely. Near absolutely lots to see and do. We will definitely be back.

The house is wonderfully situated with ever changing views across the lake. We were able to enjoy the views from every room! The fireworks on the 1st of August were amazing and went on forever! Leo is a very accommodating host and was most helpful with advice for visits and restaurants. He pointed us in the direction of the local fisherman who provided filleted lake fera and perch that we watched him bring in each day. The house is tastefully decorated with good facilities- the piano was an especially great addition. We particularly enjoyed sitting out on the terrace and the sun loungers were the most comfortable we have ever relaxed on. As it is only four miles to the Swiss border we were able to easily visit all the wine villages on the other side of the lake. Lutry and Cully were particular favourites. A visit to Montreux on our wedding anniversary was delightful especially as the local cave gave us a bottle of free Grand Vin Mousseux. Savoury and sweet treats in Confiserie Zucher were delicious! Needless to say we will be booking for longer next time!

Picturesque, tranquil town. A rare gem

Where to begin! The apartment is located in a small beautiful village with the sounds of flowing water straight from the mountains. The views surrounding were spectacular, however, I wont say much as ill ruin the surprise. All that we needed was there in the apartment and the local shop was only a 20 minute cycle away. Plus many restaurants around the area. The added bonus of a sauna was much to our delight, although we spent little time in there due to being busy exploring the area and taking in all its beauty (and of course practicing on the piano included in the apartment!). Overall we highly recommend staying here. We were fortunate enough to meet the owners as well, who are both very welcoming and lovely people. The whole holiday was an unforgettable and wonderful experience. Ian and Samantha

Superbe !

Superbe appartement, confortable (à part l'escalier qui est quand même très raide, attention si vous avez des soucis de mobilité), très bien équipé et aménagé avec goût. La vue sur le lac est merveilleuse, y compris le soir quand les lumières sur la berge en face apparaissent. Qu'une envie: y retourner !
