Alford is well known for it's craft market which is on weekly during the summer and every bank holiday. There is a thatched manor house in Alford that offers a range of activities such as outdoor performances, jazz weekends etc.

Alford is situated on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, an area of outstanding natural beauty and offers many walks and direct access to stunning countryside. In the other direction Alford is a 10 minute drive from the nearest beach at Sutton on Sea or Anderby Creek. The coastline offers miles of sandy beaches which are mainly dog friendly.

Nearby towns of Louth and Horncastle offer plenty to see with independent shops, antique and book shops and regular markets. It is also an easy drive to Skegness for the many sights and activities on offer there.
