A fashionable interior is complemented by vaulted ceilings and characterful aspects that remain from the original barn conversion. A sunny patio can be accessed via the kitchen diner or sunny lounge. Furnished with patio tables and chairs its a lovely spot for an alfresco lunch. To the rear a raised lawn garden is shared with the owner who lives next door and the twin holiday cottage next door. Also equipped with more outside seating there is a barbecue and chiminea for guests to share.
The cottage is just a 5 minutes walk from a nearby country club where you can enjoy meals out or a drink at the bar. The beaches of Bude and Sandymouth Bay just across the border can be reached in less than 35 minutes and the Tarka Trail is close by to explore the region by foot, on two wheels or on horse back.
Groceries shopping can be done in nearby Holsworthy just 10 minutes away where there is also a weekly market.

One step over at entrance. Ground floor: Kitchen/Dining room with patio doors to level decking. Lounge with 30" TV. Stairs to First floor: Bedroom 1 Double, wall mounted TV and Juliet balcony. Bedroom 2 Twin with TV/DVD. Bathroom with bath, shower over and WC. Outside store room with freezer. There is a raised lawn garden to the rear shared with the sister cottage and owner, equipped with seating and picnic benches. Other amenities: Free Wi-Fi, IPod dock/CD/DAB radio, slimline dishwasher, washer/dryer, gas barbecue and Chiminea. Bed linen, towels and central heating included. One dog welcome at £20 each per week.
The property offers accommodation over two floors and has a mixture of carpeting, slate floor and rugs throughout. External and internal doors are of a standard width and height. Kitchen worktops are of a standard height.
There is off-road parking for two cars on a concrete drive. The parking spaces are level within 10m of the property with slightly sloping level access.

5 miles from the famous Tarka Trail where you can choose to explore the region by foot, on two wheels or on horse back, this location is ideal for exploring. Within easy reach just over half an hour and you will be across the border into Cornwall and lazing on the sandy beach at Sandymouth Bay. There are lots of lovely towns to explore, visit the picturesque village of Clovelly or head to the bustling town of Bideford. For grocery shopping your nearest market town is Holsworthy just quarter of an hours drive where you will find a good supermarket and a weekly market on Wednesday.

NB: 2 nightly rate is available on request and only during certain times of the year and will be confirmed at the point of enquiry if available. Short break stays for 3 or 4 nights are calculated at 70% of the weekly rental and 5 night stays at 80%. PRICES ARE NOT CALCULATED ON A NIGHTLY RATE AT ANY POINT.
A booking fee of between £15.00 and £30.00 is payable with each booking
RATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND CONFIRMED ONLY AT THE POINT OF BOOKING. A deposit of 1/3 of the rent is payable at the time of booking plus a booking fee if booking in advance of 8 weeks. Balance or full payment is due for bookings with 8 weeks or less of arrival.
