Having lived in Portugal most of my adult life & loving this part of the Algarve, especially Lagos, Porto de Mós was the obvious choice as it still retains its typical Portuguese charm and as this is where I live it seemed the right choice to provide high quality holidays right here

We can't speak highly enough of this fabulous apartment. From the superb views down to the superb finish, everything about our stay was wonderful. The apartment is beautifully designed, decorated and maintained bringing a real touch of luxury to your holiday. The setting is fantastic - Porto De Mos is being developed so there is some construction work but this honestly did not detract from our enjoyment.
The outside areas including the pool, courtyard and gardens are lovely and add to the ambience and luxury of the experience and the views across to the sea are fantastic.
All the comforts of home, a fully equipped kitchen in which it was a pleasure to cook fresh fish from Lagos' fabulous fish market, comfy beds, lots of balcony space and two goregous bathrooms completed a brilliant holiday experience.
The service recieved from Dina and John from booking to departure was fantastic. We travel widely and frequently and this is one of the best, if not the best, apartment we have ever stayed in. We wouldn't hesitate to return.
The property is lovely. Beautiful views. Lovely pool. Rooms spacious and clean. Well laid out and well equipped. Near to the superb beach.
All requests we sent to the owners were dealt with promptly.
The area of Porto de Mos is still developing so there is small amount of building work going on, and the way to the beach is an incomplete path though a car park. There are 2 restaurants next to the beach but no shops. In Sept, buses run once per half hour in the morning then once per hour until around 6.30pm - 20mins into the town centre, and about 5-10mins to the nearest mini-market. We also used the local taxis. It is a 40-50min walk to the town centre. None of this spoiled our holiday, but some people may feel a car is necessary.
The town of Lagos is very attractive with harbour and cobbled streets.
Boat trips from Lagos harbour to the Ponte de Piedade are worth doing.
We are a family of 4. 2 adults and 2 children (2 year and 5 year).
John is an excellent guy. Everything went smooth from the booking to getting delivered the keys. Any questions we had was answered promptly by John.
The standard was very high with aircondtion in both bedrooms and living room. The balcony had great views of the pool and the ocean.
The pool area was very nice and the pool was clean.The pool was a great place for the kids to hang out. Tha area have some construction work going on but that didn't bother us any. Mostly we walked down to the beach (3 minutes). Excellent beach and very kidfriendly. On the beach there were 2 restaurants Campimar and Antonios. We ate most of our lunches here. Both were great for lunch. If you decide to stay on the beach until dinnertime they both offer great value and you can come as you are. Be sure to reserve a table outside by 3 am. If you rather would like to eat in Lagos were they have hundreds of restaurant then you can drive to Lagos and it will take you 3 minutes.
The nearest supermarket is called Intermarche and it is 3 minutes by car. there you can by freh roasted chicken, fresh fish etc. They also have a bakery inside.

The apartments are extremely well appointed, located and fantastic value for money.
The view over the pool and sea from our 1st floor balcony was breathtaking. Every evening was spent with a nightcap on the terrace overlooking the coastline.
Quality of the apartment block is very high in terms of furnishings and facilities. It certainly adds to the enjoyment of the holiday to return to such a high quality home.
As described, the rooms are a short walk down the stairs to the Porto de Mos beach. After visiting most beaches in Portugal during our stay, I can suggest that the Porto de Mos beach is as good as any. Certainly the prices locally in and around Lagos are 50% less than in other areas of the Algarve. Something that also recommends these apartments.
I am sure we will recommend these apartments to friends and shall visit again.

Superb apartment, or should I say Villas, the high standard of these apts was perfect for our holiday stay, The area was quiet for the time of year, but this suited our holiday as we travelled with another family. The apartments were spotless, plenty space for a family of 5. The beach is a 3 min walk away, however the 2 x restaurants on the beach were not good. There are superb restaurants only 3 miles away in Lagos. A car is definetly a must though if you want to move around and site see. The only drawback was that we didnt book a month instead of 2 weeks, came back to flooding in Cork :(
