This self catering 2 bedroom apartment is ideally located in Nagoa, near Arpora, North Goa, great for being away from it all whilst being close to beaches, bars and restaurants. The Calangute and Baga beaches are less than 4 kms away.

Laze in the hammocks on the large terrace and enjoy the sound of the surrounding wildlife. Experience real Goa village life whilst being only just 10 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the beach belt. It is only 5 minutes’ drive from Arpora.

The apartment is open plan! It has a very large terrace, large LCD TV, Tata Sky satellite, (Full Sky programs, Inc. English Films, all Sports Packs), DVD Player. There is seating for 6 people, the dining table seats 4 people. There is a bookcase with an assortment of games, fans with breezes straight off the fields. The kitchen provides, microwave, toaster, kettle, gas hob, fridge/freezer, electric oven & built in units.There are two en-suite bedrooms both offering twin beds, bedside tables, wardrobes, fans. The en-suites are wet rooms, fully tiled, showers, European style toilets, hot & cold water. Outside, there is a large swimming pool, sun-beds, BBQ area, and gardens.

We provide you with a local sim card and mobile phone. Just top it up with credit and you are ready to give drivers a call, even give us a call if you get lost or need some advice.

The apartment is located on the first floor, the laundry facilities are available at the rear of the property and full use of the large pool is provided. We the owners live downstairs and are there to assist as much as you like. You can access our Wi Fi internet with your own device. Goa still has some power outages; AbraCasa has a backup inverter which powers lights and fans during power outage times.

The village has several local shops selling local provisions and alcohol. A supermarket is located close by, 15 minutes but takes just 5 minutes to get there by bike.

Getting Around

If you should decide to be a part of the happening crowd and events at Calangute, Baga and Anjuna – then it is just a 3km drive. The Saturday Night Bazaar, Flea markets are at a distance of 4 km. You have the best of both the worlds- a peaceful quiet stay and the happening places just a stone's throw from your place of stay. Local car and bike hire is available at a very reasonable rate. Taxi drivers are also around and can be called at any time plus Tuk-Tuks. Walk for 10 mins and you can get a local bus to Calangute, Mapusa or Arpora. Parking is at the rear of the property for 4 wheelers, not gated but secure, 2 wheelers can be parked inside the compound.

Neighbourhood

Nagoa is the best village in Goa. It is friendly, it is laid back and they love to party as and when they can. Everyone will say hello and make you feel welcome. We have local shops for necessary items such as beer, and beer, and beer, oh yes they sell some soft drinks and butter etc. Local restaurants are there. There is the I95 restaurant within walking distance, which is fine dining, there are also lots in Arpora which is just 5 mins away via local transport such as a bike or car. Nagoa is actually known as Nagvem, it is a small village coming just before Arpora and Baga. This village has its own share of beauties surrounding with fields, trees thus covering area with greenery and it is little quiet place also. The Church in Nagoa is known as “Holy Trinity” it was built in 1560, this was the third church built in Bardez by Franciscans missionaries. In the year 1679 the church was reconstructed by the Comunidades of Nagoas, Arpora and Saligao. The feast of this church is celebrated in the month November with great enthusiasms. There are several markets close by the river at Baga locates Mackie’s Saturday Night Bazaar. There is the famous Wednesday flea market at Anjuna Beach and the Saturday night market at Arpora.

Please no smoking inside the apartment, it is allowed on the terraces only.

All foreign passport holders are required by law to provide C form information, this is now provided by AbraCasa online to Delhi within 24 hours of check in. To ease the check in process we request this online PRIOR to Arrival (some resort request advance notification of all people attending). You are requested to please complete all of the details and upload a photo online (or even a selfie) as we must upload a photo onto the completed C form. This has to be completed for each person over the age of 16. Failure to do so on some sites may result in your booking not being honoured as it would be a breach of rules set by AbraCasa.

As per the directive given by the Government of India - Department of Tourism & GOA Police, all Indian Nationals above 18 years MUST COMPULSORILY produce proper proof of identification to avail check in. Valid Identification documents include; Passport, Voters ID card, Driver's License, PAN card or Social Security Card. Documents MUST include a photograph. We request this to be photographed/scanned and uploaded to our form in advance of arrival (some resort request advance notification of all people attending). Failure to abide by this rule may result in your booking not being honoured as it would be a breach of rules set by AbraCasa. We kindly request your assistance on this.
