Newly Refurbished Luxury 4 Bedroom, 4 Bathroom Ski Apartment in Arc 1950

This spacious, modern and exceptionally well-equipped apartment is located in the heart of Arc 1950, with ski-in/ski-out access to the Paradiski area and in immediate proximity to a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants. The apartment has just been fully refurbished and provides extremely comfortable, spacious living space. The apartment has 2 balconies, one of which has stunning views across the valley to Mont Blanc; the other overlooks the pistes immediately below.

The apartment is situated on the fourth floor of Hameau du Glacier and is ideally suited to 8/9 guests, with 4 flexible double/twin/triple bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and separate shower rooms. Up to 11 guests may be accommodated by utilising a pull out mattress in one of the bedrooms and a king sized sofa bed in the lounge.

The apartment is comfortably furnished and has a fully equipped kitchen and all the facilities you would wish for a home from home holiday; 48" Samsung TV, DVD/Blu-Ray player with film library, PlayStation with games, Bose speaker system, free WiFi, Nespresso coffee machine. A selection of board games is also provided.

Bedding, towels, bath mats and tea towels are included and changed weekly. More frequent changes and a mid-week clean may be arranged if requested, for an additional charge.

Ski lockers are provided within the building, allowing guests to leave their equipment safely and access the slopes immediately from the apartment building.

Guests have free use of the outdoor heated swimming pool and jacuzzi, gym, sauna and steam room within the building. The larger part indoor/part outdoor pool and corresponding facilities in the neighbouring Prince des Cimes may also be used. Bath robes and slippers are provided.

A large car park is situated beneath the village for those wishing to drive, with lifts taking you from the car park immediately up to the apartment.

Arc 1950 is an extremely popular, entirely pedestrianised resort with excellent ski-in/ski-out access and is a high, snow-sure resort in the heart of the Paradiski area. The village has everything needed for the perfect skiing holiday including bars, restaurants and an extremely well stocked supermarket. The ski school, equipment hire shops and lift pass office are situated in immediate proximity of the apartment building.

Why The Owner chose Les Arcs area

The apartment ticked all the boxes; ski-in/ski-out, spacious living areas, bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, balconies with wonderful views, all situated in a high altitude, snow sure, family friendly resort with some of Europe's best skiing on your doorstep. The apartment also provides a wonderful summer base in the mountains for hiking, mountain biking etc.

Beautifully presented, well equipped apartment.

We had a fabulous week at Arc 1950 staying at Hameau du Glacier. The apartment is beautifully presented with fantastic facilities. Each bedroom has its own en-suite or access to a toilet and bathroom. The bathrooms are modern with great baths and showers which are perfect after a day on the slopes.

The kitchen is immaculate and very well equipped; the inclusion of a wine fridge was very well received and permanently stocked.

We used the sofa bed as well which the teenagers found very comfortable. They also appreciated the PS4 and a TV which had English channels - especially to watch the rugby.

The views from the balconies are breath taking and great for people watching.

Arc 1950 is a family orientated resort; our teenagers would've liked a more lively nightlife but as parents we were quite grateful that this was restricted! The kids loved Meli's for burgers whereas we liked the Belles Pintes for a few drinks straight off the slopes. We had an enjoyable night at the Savoyard followed by George's Wine Bar. The resort is one of our favourites for ski-in/ski-out and the fact the slopes cater for intermediate to advanced skiers: there's plenty to ski without too much repetition.

The apartment exceeded our expectations and we hope to return. Our only tip would be on arrival, ask for keys for room 427 not 424 as the door to 424 has been closed up.

Fantastic apartment, great location!

The apartment is in a great location in the centre of town and right by the slopes with great views of the mountains. The apartment has just been renovated and is fitted to a very high standard with everything you could want. Kathryn the owner was extremely friendly and helpful and provided lots of advice and recommendations. We were arriving on Christmas eve and Kathryn even offered to do buy some shopping to help us out as it was Christmas Eve!

I would highly recommend this apartment to anybody and will certainly be returning in the future!

Perfect Apartment for two families

We arrived as two families of four and this apartment was absolutely perfect. the apartment is effectively two 2 bed apartments combined and as a result has an extremely spacious kitchen and dining area between the bedrooms. There are 4 showers/bathrooms which meant we could finish the days skiing and get out to enjoy the Apres Ski/evening without having to queue for showers! The apartment is very well equipped and maintained. The owner provided all the information we required before our arrival and was extremely helpful. All in all, this resort and accommodation is ideal for those requiring stress free in-out skiing. You park under the accommodation, go to your apartment, pop down to the mezzanine floor and hit the pistes - as simple as that! 1950 is by far the nicest of the resorts in the Les Arcs region, with a good number of restaurants and shops and a well equipped supermarket.

Fantastic holiday in a beautiful apartment

This is a fantastic apartment – a real gem of a find in a great ski resort. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and the living room areas were extremely spacious for our group (7 adults). Excellent kitchen facilities, Wi-Fi and UK TV all available. The owner, Kath, could not have been more helpful either – she clearly knows this area well and was quick to reply to any queries. It really is ‘Ski-in and Ski-out’ so an ideal base for exploring both Les Arcs and La Plagne (and perfect for both those new to skiing and for experienced skiers). My group immediately rebooked for a return visit and have recommended this apartment to others.

Beautiful apartment in perfect location

We had an amazing stay. Thank you! The apartment is immaculate and it was great to have so much space for everyone to relax in at the end of the day. The cooking facilities are perfect for days when we didn't want to go out. Oh - and being able to get iPlayer and UK TV was a big win! La Plan and Les Arcs is my favourite resort in the Alps and being able to hit the slopes from the front door is brilliant. Highly recommended. We'll be back!

Perfect week all round

This is the third time we've stayed in Arc 1950 and I now believe we've found the perfect spot. This apartment is extremely well appointed, located at the top of the village and having been adapted from two separate apartments to create an ideal accommodation for larger parties. There were only 6 of us however the 4 separate bedrooms with individual bathroom facilities gave the space and privacy we needed. The service and general correspondence from the owner was second to none and we will definitely be returning.
