Newly decorated spacious studio in quiet street perfectly located for West End
This studio flat would suit a single or couple. It has its own entrance from the street, but is part of a large private house. It is quiet and brilliantly located for the park, shopping and sightseeing. The flat is maintained to a very high standard and has been newly refurbished and decorated. It has a large double bed with new mattress and feather pillows. New 100% cotton sheets. There is a clothes washer and dryer. Separate kitchen (separate room) with microwave, cooker, coffee maker (nespresso) etc. The Studio room has lots of cupboard space, a TV, WIFI and a small sofa. There is a small shower off the bedroom and between the bedroom and kitchen there is a small table for eating. This is a really sweet studio and it isn't that small. It is warm with underfloor heating. There are all mod cons and up to date guide books for your use.

About the Owner
This home is owned by an English family who live in the building but have a separate entrance. We have two grown up children. We have restored the building to a high standard and are one of the few remaining original houses in the area.

Why Ann chose Westminster and West End
This is a really beautiful house of grand proportions and lovingly restored. The area is just wonderful and we really love living here. It is both quiet and vibrant and centrally located plus perfect for the park.

We loved our stay in Ann's flat. It was cosy, comfortable and in a great location. It was a little home away from home. We had everything we needed. It was lovely and clean. The bed was comfortable and the washing/dryer machine meant we could continue on our travels with lovely clean clothes. Ann and her husband were welcoming but not intrusive. Bus stop a short stroll away. Kensington Gardens just opposite. Great location, lovely flat so would highly recommend.
Comfy and handy
This flat was a great base; handy to Paddington, two tube stops and buses. It was well-appointed and comfortable. Our hosts thoughtfully provided us neighborhood recommendations and safety information and contacts on a laminated page. We loved that the front of the house was planted with calla lilies, hydrangea, hollyhock, and wisteria; including sightings of an English robin. Thank you Ann-Mari, Ivo and Maria.
Great vacation apartment
Wonderful accommodation with a gracious host, Ann-Mari, and her husband Ivo. Ann was waiting for us despite a lengthy delay in our arrival as we slogged through a very crowded Heathrow airport.
After handling our luggage like a longshoreman, Ann showed us around the apartment which is not huge, but plenty of room for 2 people to spend 2 weeks, which we dide, or longer.
Ann had laid in a supply of nespresso pods for great coffee, as well as bread, jam and biscottis, which we enjoyed after our long flight. She showed us how everything worked, gave us direction to the nearest grocery store, ATM, & underground stations, and said to let them know if we needed anything else. They lived right above us.
The unit is located in the bottom level of a 4 story home in which Ann and her family live. It has its own entrance and is very safe and secure. It's located on a quiet street in a very nice neighborhood, although very close to transportation, shopping, and food venues. If you're a foodie, like we are, you will love this location.; many Indian, Chinese, and Italian restaurants, as well as pubs. And, we were able to walk to all of them. If you really like Indian, try Noor Jahan 2. It was our favorite.
If you're planning to spend any time in London, give this place serious consideration. You won't be sorry. We weren't.

Best rental we've had!!
We stay at a lot of vacation rentals and this one tops the list. The flat is PERFECT for two people who want to immerse themselves in what London has to offer. Quiet. Clean. Two nearby Tube stops. This place is the best.
AND, even though she and her husband were on a vacation of their own, the owner Ann was the most-responsive, friendliest we have dealt with. The place was stocked with friendly welcome treats and she made really quick work of the one minor issue we had with a curtain.
We will be back to London and will be staying here again!!
Cozy, well-appointed, perfect location
We had a wonderful stay in this flat! It is ideally located, only a 10-minute walk from Paddington station, which is where the Heathrow Express train (highly recommended) takes you. The flat is beautiful, the one big room featuring a huge window that - being "belowstairs" - offered lots of light but still a great deal of privacy. The flat was perfectly clean, the kitchen is small but has everything you could need, and was already stocked with the basics when we arrived, so we didn't need to shop upon arrival. Beautifully appointed, with plush towels and an extremely comfortable bed; shower had exceptional water pressure.
Our host, Ann, could not have been more pleasant to deal with, both leading up to and during our stay. She was responsive to all questions, clear in all communication, and even though she and her family were on holiday when we were there, she responded promptly and effectively when we had a small housekeeping problem (blown light bulb in the kitchen replaced within the day by the cleaning woman). She has an excellent collection of guidebooks for London, provided us with two Oyster cards for the tube, and I was a little regretful that we didn't get to meet in person, because she seemed eager to make sure we had a great stay in her flat. I have no reservations whatsoever in recommending Ann and this accommodation to any reader.
Additional info: Leinster Gardens (the street) features quite a few small hotels, and is otherwise residential, and a quiet refuge after busy days touring the city. There's a fantastic Greek restaurant (Halepi) down the street, and lots of other great dining options just short walks away in Queensway or Notting Hill Gate. Queensway has all the shops you could need (small supermarkets, Boots drugstore, bank machines, etc). And it's lovely to be so close to Kensington Garden - beautiful, features a wonderful children's playground, and walking through it gets you to the Victoria & Albert, Science, and Natural History museums in just half an hour. In every way, this flat was perfectly suited to our needs (couple, mid 50s & mid 60s).

Activity and Interests
This flat is located in between Lancaster Gate and Bayswater. 1 minute from Kensington Gardens. The street is quiet and safe, but the area is vibrant and fun, with shops, bars and restaurants nearby. It is close to all public transport (tubes & buses) so for a base it is excellent. Oxford Street is just 4 minutes by bus, Kensington Gardens 1 minute walk from the front door and it's a 5 minutes bus ride to Portobello Road Market. Round the corner is Whiteleys Department Store, which has lots of shops cinemas and restaurants. Queensway is a few minutes walk away & is full of ethnic restaurants and great fun. It is in a brilliant location for sightseeing as well as shopping and eating. Paddington Station is 5 minutes walk from the flat making it very easy to get to from from Heathrow airport - you take the Heathrow Express from Heathrow to Paddington, which takes 15 minutes.
