Lovely character cottage in Chiswick, West London. In a great location, close to a wide array of restaurants and shops, the thames towpath and within easy access (20 mins) of central London. The house has three bedrooms with two bathrooms and a lovely new kitchen with doors opening onto the south facing garden which has outdoor furniture and a barbecue. The house is located on a quiet road just off Devonshire road and close to Chiswick High Road.

Lovely family home with a heart and soul
We recently enjoyed a four night stay in this lovely home, and would return in a heartbeat. Clean, spacious, light and nicely furnished (not to mention, fragrant - in fact, I liked the smell so much that I bought the same scented diffuser in the living room!). This is a home with a heart and soul, as opposed to a more corporate rental that doesn't feel lived in and loved. Great set-up for a family... Our party of six ranged in age from seven months to 70+ years; the ensuite bedroom at the top of the house ensured that my in-laws had their own space and privacy, whilst the other two bedrooms and large family bathroom were ideal for the rest of us. Location was ideal, too - safe neighborhood with tons of great restaurants and shops just a couple of minutes walk away, and good transport links to central London etc. The homeowner was lovely to work with, and kindly left some supplies for our arrival. Thank you for a great stay, Christian - we hope to make a return visit!
Great family place to visit London
The house is exactly as showed in the pictures. My husband and I spent 5 days with our 4 children and it was the perfect size for us. The kitchen has everything you need with new appliances. We also found milk for us in the fridge as well as all the basics for breakfast like coffe, tea, butter, ham and more.
Everything was working well and we had great written instructions for all the appliances, wifi, heat, etc.
The beds are very comfortables with great linens and the house was clean.
We also loved the location. The house is in a very quiet street but 2 min walking from restaurants and grocery stores. We felt very safe with our 4 children. The tub is 5min walking and it takes 20 min to get in central London.
We had a very good communication with the owner via email.
The only thing that is not specified in the description is that the house has 3 levels and very stip stairs, which for what I know is pretty common in English houses.
I will highly recommend this place to any friend and I will love to come back.

Yes would definitely recommend this let. Christian was great, very accommodating and easy to reach. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of space to not feel cramped. Our 6 year old grandson loved it and expressed a desire to return and live there some day!!:) Tube stop convenient, buses to Kew a snap, all restaurants tried were winners and a very fast response by an Uber taxi to the airport which was reasonably priced and so convenient. We had a car upon arrival but returned it as the parking is sparse and a car was not needed. All in all a great stay.

No complaints about anything.
Next trip to London, this will be top of my search list for a place to stay.

So close to many gorgeous restaurants, shops, and pubs!!! Tesco metro and sainsburys 5 min walk away. Turnham Green station 5-10 min walk. Beautiful house, really helpful owner. Our family of 6 just loved the house, had everything we would need... Loved the area around Chiswick... Really beautiful. We had such a lovely stay here that we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone as a base to explore London... Kew Gardens very close... Loved it!
Family Holiday in London. 5 People. Excellent property, very well maintained and clean. Plenty of space. Lovely area with plenty of local facilities, shops, restaurants. 10 minutes walk to Turnham Green Tube station on District Line and easy access to city and Heathrow, Very helpful owner. Recommended
