White Horses Is In A Peaceful Location But Only A 5 Minute Stroll To The Harbour

White horses is a beautifully presented property which sits on the prestigious Castle Rock development moments away from the coastal path with its breathtaking sea and coastal views. Sitting on a private road with its own parking , it is an ideal base for holidaying and sea watching all year round. It is furnished to a high standard throughout with a contemporary but homely feel. It is light and airy with patio doors from the open plan sitting room leading onto an enclosed courtyard garden , ideal for morning coffee or sipping a drink in the evening. The sitting room has under floor heating and lovely new leather sofas. There are 2 bedrooms, one king with a Juliet balcony and one double, both with sea and coastal views. The house sits above the coastal path and a short walk along the path with its magnificent sea views takes you into the quaint working fishing harbour full of character and charm. Nestled amongst the narrow streets and white washed fisherman's cottages are interesting shops, pubs and galleries. Locally caught seafood is both on sale and also served in the excellent fish restaurants including the Michelin Star Chef Nathan Outlaw's prestigious fish kitchen and newly opened signature restaurant that is very close to the Castle Rock development. Port Isaac is known to many as the home of Doc Martin and The famous shanty sea singers, Fisherman's Friends .It is one of the most beautiful fishing harbours in the country. There are numerous beaches within easy reach for families and Water sports fanatics alike. Padstow , Boscastle and Tintagel are all within an easy drive . White Horses is the ideal base to savour all these delights and many more.

Perfect Bolt Hole

After much searching my husband and I chose this property for a weeks get away. We couldn't have picked better. Its situated in a beautiful location at the top of Port Isaac with access to the stunning coastal path offering an easy route into the centre of the town. All mod cons avaible in the house. Would defintely return.

Cornish Retreat

We have had two holidays in this delightful, very comfortable property. The tasteful decor combined with the proximity to the sea make it the ideal base from which to discover this lovely coastline. There are lots of places to sample local delicacies such as crab sandwiches and cornish pasties. We were sorry to leave and hope to return in the near future. Tom and Marie , Blackpool

Nearest Airport : Newquay Airport is aprox 30 minute drive at 20 Miles Nearest Train : Bodmin Parkway is a 30 minute car journey at 16 Miles Nearest Beach : Port Isaac and Port Gaverne a 5 minute walk away Car: necessary

White Horses is situated very close to the sea in Port Isaac and a 5 minute walk to the village and harbour. Port Gaverne is a 10 minute walk away with its stunning coastal views, walk and beach. There are many beautiful walks from Port Isaac along the dramatic coastline. Tintagel best known for its connection with King Arthur and visiting the Castle Ruins is a must. Boscastle a sheltered natural inlet with an unspoilt harbour village and Padstow with its Rick Stein eateries are 30 minutes away. The famous surfing beach at Polzeath is a 10 minute drive away. The Eden Project and Fowey are a 50 minute drive away. The prestigious St Endenoc Links Golf Club is a short drive away. Bodmin Moor is a 20 minute drive. There is however plenty to explore on your doorstep . Port Isaac is of course famous for being the home of Doc Martin and of of the most stunning Harbours and rugged coast line that you could wish to visit.

Pet Fee £25

Change over day is a Friday. The house is available from 3pm on the first day of your stay and we ask guests to leave by 10am on the day of departure. Please ask if different arrangements are required as we like to be flexible if at all possible.

Please Email or telephone to see if the house is available on your chosen dates. We will always be happy to discuss short breaks and last minute deals if the house is free. We ask for a 30% deposit to secure your stay with the balance to be paid 6 weeks before your stay. We recommend that you take out holiday payment in the event of your having to make a cancellation.

A deposit of one third of the price is payable on booking and the remainder 6 weeks before your stay. The property can be booked through our local cornish agent John Bray.

  • Port Isaac has many small shops of interest as well as deli, fishmongers,cafes, eateries, fish and chip shops, ice cream parlour galleries and pubs. There is also a Co Op in the village stocking most essential items with long opening hours. The market town of Wadebridge is less than a 20 minute drive and has lots of shops, banks and a large Tesco's and Co Op supermarket. It is home to the Camel trail where you can hire bikes and cycle to Bodmin Jail and Padstow another stunning harbour town where you can sample the traditional Cornish Pasties and fabulous restaurants. Rock is closeby and a haven for those who love to sail. You can take a ferry from Rock to Padstow and enjoy the stunning estuary views.
