Ranmoor offers everything you will need, spacious living accommodation, and extensive private grounds with children's play equipment, including table tennis table. Amble space for all of your guest to celebrate or relax with you with views over open country side.

As you arrive through the Oak gates you will find ample parking and secure space outside the property. The property is large, luxurious and well appointed. The interior has been described by visitors as spectacular. It is well equipped and laid out with space for all members of the family to enjoy.

Accommodation comprises:, Luxurious Entrance Hall, WC, Spacious Lounge layout in two sections, top section with computer and inglenook fireplace, bottom section with wall mounted TV, and French doors giving open views over your own private garden, and open countryside. Spacious Dining Room, with games area. Large Kitchen with centre island for quest seating, Games Area with Pool Table. Garden room, Utility. 2 Double Bedrooms, Shower Room. First Floor having 6 Double Bedrooms, Family Bathroom with Shower Cubicle, 3 of the Luxurious Bedrooms having private en suites.

Ranmoor has a beautiful setting in private grounds that can only be approached through the secure gated entrance along the dedicated driveway.

Outside guests have a swimming pool (only available in summer months) and garden viewed from the French windows of the games room to the side there is a barbeque and rear of the property has tranquil countryside views, garden furniture, plus the added bonus of children’s play activity play area with play equipment, trampoline, football nets, swing ball, table tennis and masses of lawn, for your exclusive use.

a great family holiday home

We had stayed at New Farm cottage on the same site and owned by the same people the year before so we were looking forward to a repeat of the quality of property and the beautiful surroundings coupled with the warm professional reception of the owners. \We were not disappointed. Ont this occasion we were a family party of 11 adults and 4 children. The quality and spaciousness of the property was very impressive. The bedrooms were big,comfortable and all ensuite. We breakfasted by the pool or in the very spacious kitchen with every type of equipment we could wish for available to us. The property was so big we could meet up as a group or spend quiet time in smaller family groups. Having the pool was a bonus as all the family spent most days there. We need not leave the property as there was sufficient to do including Playing Pool . However we did visit nearby Blandford and Dorset vineyards and Dorchester, This was a great week for us to relax together and I would definitely recommend it to friends. The place was clean and well supplied,we had dinner most nights in the dining room large enough to comfortably fit us all in. The children loved the space and the slide with room to run safely and played on the trampoline. the supermarket was 5 mins away so keeping stocked up was simple. I am already planning a stay in Ranmoor next year with all the family as it was good value for money and had plenty of space The staff/ owners were discreetly available to us and welcomed us very warmly. If you get the opportunity to visit Ranmoor you will have a lovely holiday

Spacious house deal for large group, ideal in summ

The house is beyond huge and perfect for our group of twelve couples for a reunion weekend but lacking in some hospitality finesse which we have enjoyed at other rental properties in Dorset, Wilts and Gloucestershire. A welcome pack would have been a nice touch, (local produce?) And we had to fend for ourselves and find logs and firefighters the day after arrival so again after a long journey that would have been welcome. No soap or any toiletries to speak of and one loo roll between four in the family bathroom for three days was not appreciated but maybe we should have searched every cupboard? Huge soulless bathrooms with poor showers, nice bedrooms though and a strangely huge lounge on two levels had squeaky leather sofas which none of us seemed to like sitting on. No iPod dock (surprising), lucky we brought our own. The TV was great, the hired hot tub was expensive but meant we could enjoy the garden in the winter.

Amazing house

I rented this house for 3 nights for my 50th Birthday celebrations, everything about it was perfect, the location was stunning, the house was amazing and so well equipped, and the service I received from the owner was fantastic, she was very responsive providing me with so much information about the house and surrounding area.

My family & friends were amazed by everything, the size of the house meant that you were not on top of each other at all, and the extremely large lounge and sofa's accommodated us all perfectly. We were very lucky that the sun shone all weekend and we got full use of the extensive grounds and heated swimming pool. I also rented New Farm & Game keepers cottage which are the other properties within the grounds of Ranmoor to accommodate 26 of us, all 3 properties were amazing and made my 50th Birthday weekend the perfect event.

We used the recommended caterers for a BBQ & party on Saturday night and they were fantastic, knowing the house so well meant that I did not have to worry about anything at all.

I will certainly be recommending this house to all my friends & family, and will certainly be booking again in the future.

fab house ideal for large family group

having been to the house before i knew it would be perfect for my 40th birthday celebrations, we had an amazing time, the children were in the garden the entire time.

the house is so large that you arnt on top of each other, to be honest we spent most of the time in the large kitchen playing pool.

We have no complaints we loved it, even though we only live 3 miles away it felt like we were somewhere else entirely.

the owners were great and replied to all my messages and were very helpful

we are already planning to book again next year

Great party space

Stayed with friends and several small children. Huge house, good management and information. Very split accommodation with some amazing rooms and others good. Terribly let down by appalling showers, lots of mentions in guest book but still no good shower in the whole house. Beware, pool not enclosed so risk for toddlers. An amazing space for several families/friends and would get five stars if showers sorted and some kitchen equipment replacement sorted. Lovely, friendly welcome. Thanks.

Owner's Response: We personally apologise, and can confirm this was from a leak outside of our grounds, that resulted in the pressure being lower than what we have, resulting in a slow flow from showers. The problem has now been rectified. Ranmoor is an amazing property, and we try very hard to ensure everything is to our customers expectations, again we apologise to the customer, and will offer a discount, should you wish to visit in the future.

Fantastic Accommodation

The property was first class, massive in size and just perfect for large groups to use. The weather wasn't kind and we hardly moved from the house but it didn't matter, lots to do, never on top of each other, spotlessly clean when we arrived and full of Christmas trees and decorations.

Would definitely use again, and recommend to others, thank you.
