Villa in Benalmadena Pueblo, Costa del Sol, Spain - Peaceful Village Location

Villa Algarrobo is a beautiful rural Spanish Villa and has been totally reformed and refurbished (July 2015) and is very spacious both inside and outside.

Situated in the village of Benalmadena Pueblo the Villa has a large pool (approx 10m*6m) with lots of outside space, a large shaded poolside terrace area, and a 1st floor terrace area with pool and sea views.

For a maximum of 8 adults, a total of 4 bedrooms 4 bathrooms: The main villa has 3 bedrooms (the master double en-suite is bigger than most studio apartments) and 3 bathrooms, and the summer house 'casita' has 1 double bedroom and private bathroom. Extra beds can be supplied for up to 2 extra children.

Although it is in a country setting, it's only a few minutes walk into the village and amenities. The nearest bar is only a 3 minute walk. The charming setting of Plaza España (the village centre) is about 5 minutes walk. The village of Benalmadena Pueblo offers a vast selection of bars, cafes, and restaurants to suit all budgets and tastes. From tapas (spanish light bites) to gourmet cuisine. As well as all of the Spanish bars/restaurants there is also British home made menus, Chinese, Pizzeria...

I've lived in Spain since 2002. I live here in Benalmadena Pueblo with my wife and 6 yr old daughter.

We live 5 mins drive from the property so are available for check ins, check outs or any problems at any time. We hope to welcome you soon!

Why Tony and Liz Wilkinson chose Benalmadena

I started by renting my own apartment and now manage 6 villas all within Benalmadena Pueblo. Villa Algarrobo is the latest addition, and immediately impressed me with it's size and spacious feel, both within the villa and the outside area, as well as the larger than usual pool.

The village has a good choice of restaurants, cafes and bars so you don't need to go anywhere else. But near by there is plenty to do, just on our doorstep, including the famous Costa del Sol beaches, ports and nightlife. Come and visit and I'm sure you will become a regular! We constantly listen to feedback from our guests so we strive to improve the villa to provide a fantastic holiday for you!

What makes this villa unique

A real countryside feel in a quiet setting but only a short walk into the village centre with a great selection of bars and restaurants. Exterior lighting and pool lighting provides a beautiful atmosphere for night time alfresco dining.

Perfect family holiday

We had a family holiday, 2 couples with 2 children each. We had one couple and 4 children in the main house and 1 couple in the summer house. It worked really well. The villa is very big and spacious and accommodated our party really well. It has everything you need and it location within walking distance of the Pueblo was ideal as no one had to drive! Tony and Liz were very welcoming and assisted with anything we threw at them! The local tapas restaurant that Liz recommend which is just a minute away was fantastic and a great way to start the holiday. We had cars and it was easy to get to Mijas and the coast, but you could get away without one if you are happy with public transport. We don't often go back to the same place just because we like to explore but this is one we would consider again.

Great Villa

My two sisters, my brother and myself stayed for 1 week in this wonderful villa.

We arrived on Saturday 18th June and were met my Tony the manager who was most helpful.

The villa exceeded our expectations spotlessly clean, towels and linen white as snow. The pool also was pristine. Everything you could need was provided and the views spectacular. The only downside for us as we are all over 70 and one of my sisters has walking difficulties was the position of the villa. The village while only a few minutes away was up a couple of quite steep hills, no problem if you are younger and fitter than us. That said if you want a holiday relaxing by the pool this is ideal.

Using taxies we were able to get to the railway station in Benalmadena and from there Malaga and Fuengirola.

There is a great local bus service from the village making travel inexpensive.

We ate in two of the restaurants La ninas recommended by Tony which was excellent and also Escorpia just a few minutes away up the hill, this was also excellent.

I would like to suggest a welcome pack as after travelling to have to get to the supermarket to get essentials like water, bread, tea and butter can be exhausting, although after meeting Tony I am sure if you contacted him with a list he would be happy to provide you with your needs.

I would thoroughly recommend this villa to anyone.

Wonderful vacation🌟

Lovely stay in a wonderful house and big garden with great pool. Everything was very clean and tidy. Housekeeper did very professional job to satisfy our needs and explained everything real good. We can recommend this very much🌟🌟🌟
