This first floor air conditioned duplex apartment is located in a small quiet gated complex in Mar Azul, just a 2 min walk from the beaches.

On the first floor, the south facing terrace overlooking the pool, provides a lovely spot in which to enjoy drinks, breakfast or a meal. The accommodation on this level comprises of the comfy lounge with 2 sofas. The apartment has WiFi, English satellite T.V with full Sky TV package including sports and movie channels.; bedroom 1 with a king size double bed; the fully equipped kitchen (inc. cooker,microwave, washing machine etc); the bathroom (bath with shower over); and the dining room/bedroom 3 (with sofa bed).

A flight of stairs lead up to bedroom 2 which has twin beds and a shower room. This bedroom opens onto the large roof solarium which gets the sun all day. This is equipped with sun loungers and a table and chairs as a further option for al fresco dining.

Bed linen and towels are provided though please bring your own beach towels.

Just a couple of minutes to the bottom of the road and you are on the beach!

To the right is Cala Ferris beach, 200 mtrs long this is a mixture of sand and small sand dunes and rock pools to explore.Surrounded by palm trees it really is picturesque. Alternatively turn left for Playa de los Naufragos, a long sandy blue flag beach which is kept impeccably clean. Its many facilities e.g. children’s play area, food and drink outlets and sun lounger rentals make this a popular destination.

Just a 15 minute stroll takes you to Punta Prima with its wide variety of bars, eateries and shops, but if you don’t want to walk that far, there are two restaurants and two bars (also serving food) just across the road and Aldi supermarket just a 5 minute walk away.

10 minutes on the bus gets you into Torrevieja centre with its attractive seafront and more than 200 bars/restaurants, a popular street market, a fairground (in season) and a lively night life.

John and I retired in 2014 and decided to buy a holiday home in Spain, to enable us to enjoy some winter sunshine. Having viewed many areas and properties, we found this one which we considered perfect for us!

Why Lynda and John Leadbetter chose Torrevieja Area

It is in a lovely, well maintained friendly complex (not at all like the huge package holiday complexes which tend to be really noisy in the summer months and abandoned in the winter.

We like the fact that it is not a "square box" it has a traditional Spanish feel to it, with all the comforts of home including a satellite T.V. system with full English Freeview channels and many Sky channels including sports and movies (suits John!!) We also have WiFi so keeping in touch with family at home is really easy.

Across the road from the complex, you can find a friendly bar, run by English people, serving value for money meals with entertainment twice a week.

There's also a pool bar and a quality restaurant where the food is excellent. Just a 15 minute walk along the main road, in either direction takes you to a host of restaurants. In one direction they are mostly traditional Spanish ones and in the other you can find English entertainment venues, German, Italian, Indian and a Spanish one with flamenco shows twice a week.

What makes this apartment unique

You really can just walk down the road to the beach! No major roads to cross, or if you don't want to walk at all, you can enjoy the large roof terrace which gets all day sun.

If you fancy a day out it is just 5 stops on the local bus into the centre of Torrevieja with it's fabulous promenade, beaches, shops and market row. From the main bus station you can catch buses to many many places of interest if you like to sightsee further afield. Why not try Cartagena with it's naval influence and magnificent architecture, not to mention the array of shops?

absolutely fantastic apartment

The apartment was as stated and more having a 4 year old child it was ideal (but a couple of plastic beakers wouldnt go a miss) we felt very safe snd secure with her. The added extra of having wifi and sky was brill it was like home from home. It was very clean and tidy,quiet and tranquil. Being on a bus route was great to get into town but in walking distance of many bars pubs and supermarkets. The park at the end of the road was ideal with Tillys bar across the road. Would highly recommend to anyone. A good service was given by the owner and transfers to and from apartment was great. Thanks for a lovely holiday.

Absolutely wonderful, great holiday 😊

Best holiday ever! Duplex has everything you could possibly need and is very clean and comfortable. The roof terrace is fantastic for sunbathing or just chilling. No car needed, as everything is within walking distance. AND no need to get up early to claim a space near the pool, fantastic! Going again in September 😁

Appartement trés bel me mal entretenu

Très mauvais accueil, mal organisé et aucune considération du client, après une heure d'attente, a l'aéroport au Bar ou ont avait RV. avec notre chauffer que devait nous ramène a Torrevieja 45 km de Alicante que jamais venu, on été oblige contacte la propriétaire qui habite en Angleterre avec l'aide d'une hôtesse de l'aéroport. Finalement nous avons été oblige de prendre un taxi au tarif plus élevé.

Après notre arrive a 22h il n'avais plus de magasins ouvert, et nous n'avions rien a manger il a fallu attendre le matin l'ouverture des magasins. Donc nous ne somme pas satisfait du tout.
