Rosemerryn is a modern, beautifully appointed, comfortable and quiet apartment with a high standard of contemporary, open plan accommodation and a large garden. The apartment comprises the eastern annex of a magnificent property tucked away down a secluded private lane in the heart of the ancient town of Marazion. The uninterrupted panoramic sea view of Mounts Bay and the iconic St Michael's Mount from the apartment living room and both bedrooms is simply outstanding.

There is parking for one car and an outside patio sitting area with rattan garden furniture and a huge lawned garden to the front with the sea beyond. Marazion is blessed with some superb restaurants and galleries. The beach and causeway to St Michaels Mount are a 10 minute stroll away.

The apartment has an open plan living, dining area with solid oak floors and bi-fold living room doors that open completely to provide clear views of the sea and St Michael's Mount. All rooms are furnished to a very high standard.

The kitchen is fitted with shaker style units and modern appliances including ceramic hob, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer.

The property has 2 spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room and is equipped with a 'zip and link' bed which can be used as a twin or joined to form a super king size bed.

A further double room is served by the family bathroom with bath and shower over and fitted vanity sink unit and WC. The whole property is in 'as new' condition and equipped to a very high standard throughout.

Rosemerryn apartment has full gas central heating and free Wi-Fi and is available all year round. The property is a Friday to Friday let.

Excellent stay at this beautiful property

The property is one of the best we have stayed at and we have used vacation rentals for years. It is very clean, quiet, high quality furniture, very comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms with lots of hot water, fast internet and views to die for, right on the ocean overlooking Mount St Michaels. The booking was easy and our security deposit was returned the day we checked it. Loved it and would come back but it's a bit far from Canada. Highly recommend it and Marazion is the best place to stay on the Cornwall coast.

Stunning!

WOW - This place is beautiful. We arrived the day storm Imogen hit and the weather was vile. It was fabulous to arrive to a beautiful, warm and cosy cottage. The views are unbelievable. One thing that really stood out was the organisation of the cottage. The cupboards were so well stocked and every detail had been covered down to a torch, Tupperware and cool bag! It was spotlessly clean and made a fantastic base for us. The surrounding area is probably as good as it gets!! I can honestly say I've never stayed in such a well maintained, beautiful holiday home before. We will be back

Great property to spend our anniversary

We stayed at the Rosemerryn Holiday apartment for a long weekend during September 2015. On arrival the drive to the property set the scene well, with the fantastic view onto St Michael’s Mount.

The property we stayed in was the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. It was well equipped with top quality accessories, and decorated very tastefully. The apartment was presented for guests extremely well with a check in process that works well with no hassle or delays to enjoying our break. The views from both bedrooms and the lounge area were of the Mount and by its very nature is fantastic at any time of the year.

The apartment was very quiet, with no noise from any road traffic, yet being situated within a short walking distance to the centre of Marizion, where the Goldophin Arms serve excellent food and also great views of the Mount.

The Apartment has internet access that we both found to be very useful to keep up with the continual onslaught of emails, but most of all the apartment provided a very welcome relaxing long weekend to recharge our batteries and enjoy the wonderful area of Marizion, Penzance, Newlyn and a great bike ride to Mousehole.

We had a great time and cannot wait to return in the not to distant future to further explore the area and enjoy the great property.

Rosemerryn has the most amazing panoramic view of St Michaels Mount and the whole of Mounts Bay from the Lizard to Lands End. The property has a 1 acre lawned garden providing a stunning foreground to the magnificent views beyond. Down it's own private lane, and furnished to an extremely high standard Rosemerryn is surely one the finest holiday properties in Marazion.

Marazion stands on the shores of Mounts Bay and is perhaps best known for the majesty of St Michaels Mount. A causeway once walked by pilgrims leads to the island at low tide where the tower and battlements of the castle rise to a height of almost two hundred and thirty feet above sea level. Whilst still occupied by the St Aubyn family, the castle and gardens are open to the public.

The area is a popular destination for water sports including wind surfing, kite surfing and sailing and there is also a local RSPB Reserve, a favourite with bird watchers. The local sandy beaches offer safe bathing and enjoy wonderful views towards The Lizard Peninsula and Lands End.

The village itself offers a range of local facilities including restaurants, public houses, primary school and health centre and is also a magnet for artists with several galleries in its centre.

Within a few miles is the characterful harbour town of Penzance, which now forms the main commercial centre for the Lands End Peninsula and offers an eclectic mix of restaurants and galleries. There is also a main line railway station, which connects to London Paddington.

Rosemerryn Apartment is also well positioned to take full advantage of the spectacular West Cornwall scenery boasting an array of towering cliffs, sandy beaches and picturesque fishing villages such as Mousehole, which is a few miles beyond Penzance. In the opposite direction is the attractive village of Perranuthnoe that boasts one of the oldest inns in Cornwall and has a sandy beach that is popular with families.

  • The apartment is attached to the owners accommodation. The owner is away a lot of the time. There is a pool which is completely out of bounds and part of the terrace area is also out of bounds. There is a large garden which guests are allowed to use.
