Great location apartment / 2 bedrooms / sleeps 4, very sunny and light

Central to all the best that Antibes has to offer, this light and spacious apartment is just a few minutes stroll from the cafes, restaurants, shops, beaches, Marina, musuems and transport links. A fantastic place to stay for couples, family or friends its convenient location makes it easy to pop back to the apartment when ever relaxing at the beach or a cafe becomes to much for you. This apartment has lots of light, with windows on 3 sides and a small Romeo and Juliet balcony. Newly painted and furnished this apartment is fresh and inviting, with all you need for up to 4 people to enjoy a great holiday. Situated on the first floor (no lift), you enter this apartment into an open plan living area, a breakfast bar seperates the kitchen area. The kitchen has a fridge with ice-box, cooker, washing machine and microwave. There is English and French TV channels as well as internet access available. There are 2 very comfortable sofas. There is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom both of which have good sized wardrobes. The twin bedroom can be converted into a double bedroom with the use of a thick mattress topper.

This apartment is located in Boulevard d'Aguillion, and so is close to the marina, beach, shops, cafes and restaurants and all that Antibes has to offer is within just a few minutes walk.

Situated on the first floor (no lift), above a Chandlery, the apartment is located within a building that has only a handful of other apartments, most of which are occupied by members of the same family. This building has a secure and friendly feel.

The living area is open plan and has a dining table for 4, 2 comfortable sofas, both UK and French TV channels as well as internet access. There is a DVD player and a small library of DVD's available. There is also a small stereo.

The bathroom has a large shower, a WC and a handbasin.

The kitchen is open plan to the living room, a breakfast bar separates the two areas. The kitchen is fully equppied with a large fridge-freezer, oven and hob, washing machine, microwave etc.

Antibes is ideally placed for trips to outlying villages or towns in the mountains along the coast. Buses and trains are good value for money and Cannes, Monaco and Italy are easily accessed without a car. (You don't need a car unless you want to venture further afield, say up into the Alps to visit the wolves of the Alpha Park, do horse trekking or walking and even then, given parking in Antibes is tricky and can be expensive, we often hire a car for the day/s we need it). The climate is fantastic and we have had some great Winter Breaks with sunny strolls, beach picnics, afternoons in the park, dining al fresco in the afternoon mixed with the Carnival at Nice and Winter activities (snow walking, skiing, Alpha Park) 1-2 hours drive away.

Vieille Ville (Old Antibes)

La Courtine runs alongside Boulevard D'Aguillon and the front-door to the apartment is 10 yards from the start of La Courtine and the Place des Pecheurs (Promenade where you can sit, ride bikes/scooters or play ball games) all within a couple minutes walk from the Gravette Beach. There are far-reaching views across Port Vauban, the OId Port and the mountains beyond from the apartment. Being in the old town, there is a fantastic choice restaurants, bars and boutiques along the shaded traditional streets of the Old Town within minutes of the apartment.
