3 beds,2 bathrooms large terrace set in tropical gardens, communal pool

Delightful 3 bedroom, 2 storey property. Sleeps 7 comfortably; 2 double bedrooms and 1 bedroom with single bunk beds. A sofa bed in the living room is easily adapted to use as a double bed and a further single bed can be added to the master bedroom If required to sleep ten. One or two couples would enjoy this property too as every room is easily accessible. Air conditioning in all bedrooms and living room. The house benefits from a large partially covered terrace with an additional wind - out shade, free wifi in all rooms and a car port providing parking for one car. Enjoy the communal facilities available in the tropically planted grounds of the complex:- swimming pool, padel tennis court, gym and toddlers playground. San Cristobal sandy beach, restaurants and bars are just a few minutes walk down the hill and a large supermarket is just 2 minutes by car ( 7 mins walk) . A Local bus at the end of the road takes you into the old town. Lovely romantic setting for couples and family friendly too. A Property to enjoy all year round.

Swimming pool open from June until September 30th .

What makes this house unique

The layout of the house is perfect for my family; my wife and I and our four children

as well as entertaining happily a second couple as there are facilities on each storey. The house flows very well as the main living area runs together onto the large terrace where I love to while away an hour or two before meandering through the tropical gardens to the pool.

Lovely, spacious house. Well equipped and clean.

We enjoyed our stay in the house. Great location for wandering down into town and nice views. Sara and Louis were very helpful. Our only disappointment was that the pool is not in service until June.

Owner's Response: Hello Katy, I'm so pleased that you had a lovely time in the house. It is a perfect location for the beach and the private car port is invaluable when it's busy. As the pool is communal it always opens at the beginning of June, if we are lucky maybe a little earlier at the end of May. All the communal pools in Almuñécar are open at this time. They use this time to do the pool maintenance and up keep. The opening times are written on the website. Great location

We stayed at the house for one week with 3 adults and one child and it was perfect for us. The house was clean and well equipped with air conditioning that we found essential in the July temperatures. There is a terrace that offered some shade in the afternoons and evenings and a shared pool that we used every day. The house is located just a few minutes walk from the long busy beach and all the restaurants. Walk a little further (~15 mins) and you reach the old town with a good selection of shops and more restaurants. If you have a car then Granada and the Sierra Nevada National Park are both less than an hour away and well worth a visit. Thanks to Sara and Louis for meeting us on arrival, showing us around and being available during our stay.

Great property and great location

Stayed for 6 nights and had a great time.

Louis met us at the bus station, showed us to the property and where everything was.

Property is as advertised, clean and well equipped.

Only downside I can think of was the communal pool wasn't open for our whole stay, but only a short walk to the beach

Location as mentioned is close to the beach and about 20 mins to the old town and about 10 mins to the supermarket.

Bus station is a little further especially with bags, but there is a circular bus that picks up right outside then short walk to the apartment.

Would recommend and hopefully be back again next year :)

'If you want to explore Andalusia, this house is a perfect place to stay. Almunecar itself has many archaeological sites; from Castillo de San Miguel, which dominates the sky line, to the various Roman remains found through out the Old Town; there is so much to see.

El Manuelo park, (a favourite place of mine,) is a beautiful tropical garden with an extraordinary array of trees and plants. The perfect place to sit and quietly read a book in the shade, whilst looking up at San Miguel castle and absorbing the historic Roman ruins.

Almunecar also hosts the gastronomic fair in May and the Popular Jazz festival in July. One of the many hidden interests to visit when you stay. There are many festivals celebrated through out the year; all very friendly and wonderful fun. The location is also within easy access to Granada and the famous Alhambre Palace, La Alpujarra, and Valle de Lecrin . It is an ideal place to rest and relax and also offers a wide range of activities. Whether it be cycling, hiking tours, or gliding, there is something for everyone - and all are excellent ways to experience the region first hand, and from varying heights!

Historic and beautiful, the scenery is dotted with castles and the remains of ancient fortresses.

After a long day of travelling, you don't need to worry about convenience, as there is a carport at the house.
