Coast View Apartment is a very comfortable, luxurious and modern finished 2 bedroom (sleep 6) sea view apartment in a very quite area of Qawra. MTA licence number HPI/6474. This modern apartment is fully equipped to offer a comfortable stay and its front balcony offers an unobstructed sea view which is always appreciated by our guests!!

Coast View Apartment is situated in Qawra which is a central location making it easy to go around Malta and Gozo. Apartment is in a very quiet area, yet just a few meters away from the promenade which is full of bars, restaurants, tourist office, etc. Daily needs and bus stop can be found just outside the building. Swimming is just across the road and along all Qawra rocky Coast in the beautiful Mediterranean Sea.

Qawra is a seaside resort located on the North part of Malta, very close to Bugibba, and St. Paul’s Bay. The town was built with the purpose of attracting tourists, and in fact, it is constellated of hotels, holiday apartments, restaurants, cafes shops, bars, casinos, and many other tourist facilities. Water sports dominate the shoreline and although there is only a small sandy beach, swimming, sunbathing and diving are still very popular activities.

There is a long promenade that stretches for around 3km all the way to St. Paul’s Bay. This walkway outlines the rocky shoreline, and provides fantastic views of the open sea. It offers a perfect space for leisurely walks and jogs, especially during the evenings, where the sunset colours the sky with spectacular hues.

There were some Neolithic remains found in Qawra, which are now incorporated in the landscaped grounds of the Dolmen hotel.

Qawra is also the site of one of the many towers built by the Knights in 1637. Standing on Qawra point, this small watch tower watches St. Paul’s Bay to the West and Salina Bay to the east. The tower is now used as a restaurant, however additions to the building took away its authenticity.

Day trips to Comino and Hop on Hop off buses around Malta can be easily booked along the promenade. The area is popular for many bars which show live sports especially football.

Closely there are also a number of private Lidos especially the latest one Cafe del Mar.

I am Lawrence and together with my wife Mariella, we take care and run this wonderful apartment. We have 2 kids, Daniel and Martina. We live in Zurrieq in the South of Malta.

Fabulous apartment, Lawrence and his wife couldn't have been more helpful

We loved the apartment, beautifully appointed and a balcony that got the morning sunshine. Lawrence picked us up and dropped us back to the airport which was a real bonus. However, we weren't so keen on the resort where the apartment was located but if you like English pubs then its ideal. It was a good location to tour round the island with the bus station only a 5/10 minute walk away.

Wonderful Experience

Laurence was the perfect host. He was there to pick us from the airport as well as gave us a mini tour of the island pointing out places we should go. The home looks just like pictures are listed here if not better. Great apartment in a good location with plenty of restaurants/bars to choose from within walking distance. Definitely recommend this apartment for anyone visiting Malta.

Beyond Expectations!

We expected this apartment to be good, based on other reviews we've read. However, even the best reviews hardly explain how good it really is, and we may also have a hard time to explain. When we were first considering renting Coast View Apartment, we had a few questions for the owners, Lawrence and Mariella. We had all our questions and more, answered within hours or less, and there's a 6 hour time difference. The apartment is clinically clean, bright, well furnished and has all the amenities to call it home. We used the washer, oven, microwave, hob top and television - all top class brand names. The shower is a wonderful rain head and everything in the bathroom is new - as it everything in the apartment. The bed was very comfortable with fresh linens left for us to change the bed. There was also lots of towels and dishtowels etc. The photographs barely do the apartment justice. There is great security to get into the building, but to be honest, we've never felt so safe anywhere in the world, as we did in Malta - Qwara. There are buses that go right by the door, or you're only a few minutes walk to the main bus terminal. You can travel anywhere and everywhere by bus, and this is why we think Qwara is a perfect place to stay, it's a small community, and you feel very welcome. There is a very convenient (small) super market 10 meters from the front entrance and a larger supermarket a 5 minute walk away.

The apartment only comes secondary to the marvellous attention to detail from Lawrence and Mariella. There was a lovely care basket waiting for us in the kitchen, that was very welcome after an overnight flight from Canada to London and a flight to Malta. And there waiting for us at the Airport, were two friendly faces, Lawrence and Mariella. This is beyond good service, this is Platinum service. We cannot recommend this place enough. We will definitely come back and stay here again - but for much longer next time. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Stressless Week

Firstly a host that picks you up and takes you back to the airport enquires in the week to see if all is well and books a superb Restaurant for New Years Eve,Lawrence you are one in a million.The apartment is furnished to a very good standard and is short of nothing with regards to self catering.Spotless is the by word.Walking to St Paul's and surrounding Bays is ideal but for some there is a decent climb to the Bus terminus.If you are on the right bus returning drops you off outside Iceland with a mere 10 metre walk to the apartment.Overall a very pleasant stay.

Great Break

The apartment as as on the websites: Very Clean, smart and functional and in a great spot. "Ten metres away is an Iceland shop that stocks nearly everything you could need from a catering point of view. he Bus station is just up the road and parking is also easy.

An Excellent Apartment and 5 star customer service

We returned from Malta yesterday (Nov 2016) after staying in this wonderful apartment. The owners, Laurence and Mariella, provided 5 star customer service! We were picked up at the airport and returned for the flight home which takes away all the stress after the flights.

The apartment was also 5 star. Immaculately clean, it has a contemporary decor with all the equipment you could ask for. Plenty of nice towels for the walk in shower, nice bedding and comfortable beds.

It was wonderful to sit on the balcony with a coffee from the Dolce Gusto coffee machine and look to the sea view. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment. Many thanks :-)
