There is a large dining table and ten chairs for comfortable dining.The lounge and dining room are separated from the kitchen by a large chestnut unit. The kitchen has all the necessary amenities to make your stay successful. There are two large terraces with seating areas for alfresco dining and drinks, perfect for a lovely barbecue in the sun!
The stairs lead down to the five bedrooms that all have doors that lead out to the garden and swimming pool.
The pool house has an oven, hob, Fridge freezer and sink. There is an outside dining and lounge area as well as various sun terraces, shower and toilet
Bedroom one is the master bedroom which has a double bed and a bath with two washbasins in the bedroom. There is a large walk in wardrobe.
Bedroom two , has an adjoining door to the master bedroom , it has a single bed, wardrobe, large desk and a shower room
Bedroom three has a double bed with en-suite shower room
Bedroom four has a double bed with en-suite bathroom with shower cubicle, bath and toilet
Bedroom five has twin beds , en-suite bathroom with shower cubicle, bath and toilet
The grounds, approximately 2000m², are landscaped to accommodate a 12 meter pool,
The property has a security alarm system, along with secure gates.
The villa is approximately 30 minutes from Nice Airport, we do strongly recommend that you rent a car either from the airport or from Vence town center. The taxi from the airport will cost you approximately 70 euros.
The villa is a ten minute drive from the picturesque medieval town of Vence. It is one of the last towns in France dating from the medieval ages to have kept its Ramparts. There is so much history to discover, the tourist office situated at Place du Grand Jardin offers guided tours around the town. The famous town of St Paul de Vence is not far from the villa, an 18 minutes drive. There are also several towns close to the villa . Tourettes sur loup, La collie sur loupe, Greolieres.
There are regular buses from the center of Vence that will take you to anywhere on the coast or in the hills.
The train station is in Cagnes sur Mer, twenty minutes from the villa.
To get to the closest beach it is approximately a 20 minute drive. This is Cagnes sur Mer, there are also other towns close by that can be visited such as Nice, Antibes, Cannes, St Jean Cap Ferrat, Villefranche.
The boulangerie is ten minutes car journey into the town of Vence, there is also a large supermarket called Leclerc that will provide you with all your groceries. There are small independent wine shops and grocery shops in the center of Vence as well as the market that is open every morning
There are two renowned spas in Vence - Chateau St Martin and Mas d Artigny.
Despite the vast choice of places in which to eat, I rate the restaurant at La Colombe d'Or as one of the best in the world, not just the region
Restaurants, whichever direction you turn, you'll find a good restaurant in one of Vence's streets and squares. A recommended one is Restaurant Le Pigeonnier which serves French food typical of the region. For something special, The Colombe d or is a famous restaurant in the area, it is definitely worth a visit though do remember to book in advance.
