Lovely townhouse for short term rental, in the beautiful urbanisation of Punta lara. Situated a short distance from the town center.Within the urbanisation there are various bars and restaurants, two communal pools and it is only 5 mins walk to the nearest beach. There are 2 good sized bedrooms, both with fitted wardrobes and ceilng fans (air conditioning in the main bedroom also). Two modern shower rooms and a well equipped kitchen. there is a spacious air conditioned living room with terrace overlooking Punta Lara. From the living room terrace is a spiral staircase which leads on to a spacious Roof top dining terrace which offers stunning views of the sea, mountains and Nerja Town. The accomadation also provides wifi and UK television. There is also a one bedroomed self contained apartment below which can be let for any extra guests.

not very comfortable

The property has a nice location however there were a few problems that made our stay not comfortable. First, the shower or water in general.

It was either cold or extremely hot. We tried everything including changing a shower head but nothing helped. Second issue was internet. It worked for the first week but then started randomly buffering and stop for a period from 15 min to an hour. Rebooting the router did not solve the problem. We enjoyed being outside of the property, the sea and sun made our trip pleasant.

Owner's Response: I'm very sorry you did not find our property as comfortable as you would have liked. My father came for a trip immediately after you and cleaned out the shower hose and that seemed to fix the problem. It was just a build up of limescale. My father reported no problem with the internet and when we arrived 6 days later for a week we also had no issue with it either. Again I am sorry if there was any disappointment felt. I pride myself in good guest care so I am sorry your trip wasn't what you had hoped for. Kind regards Jane

Luxurious Villa with Amazing Views on the edge of Magical Nerja

Just returned from Jane's beautiful house after a fabulous week's holiday. We stayed 9th to 16th September 2016. Weather was hot during the day with balmy evenings. The communal swimming pool is close to the house and quite often, we had it to ourselves, and there were never many people there. There are two bars near the pool. Our favarouite is the Oasis Bar & Restaurant. The food is good and reasonably priced, and offers a varied menu of Spanish and English food. They are open midday to midnight and offer takeaway food too. Staff are Spanish and speak excellent English and are very welcoming.

The house is very well equipped and is a true home from home. There are beach mats and even a shopping trolley for guests to use, and too many extras to mention. Beds, sofa and chairs are really comfortable which in my experience is rare for rented holiday homes. There's a washing machine in the elegant kitchen. The bedrooms and shower room are downstairs with sitting room, kitchen and bathroom (with shower over bath) upstairs, opening through French doors onto a spacious balcony with table and chairs with umbrella, and spiral stairway up to large roof terrace. There's air conditioning, ceiling fans and fast wifi connection.

I've holidayed in Nerja more times than I can remember, but I've never seen views half as good as the view from the roof terrace. The roof terrace is well equipped with tables and chairs, including 4 sun loungers, and there's a pergola to give shade from the sun.

The house is in the Punta Lara Urbanization which is a quiet and well maintained area. The bins are a short walk from the house, and the local council collections are every night.

We never had a problem finding a space to park the car on the road, at the front of the house. We hired a car from malagacar.com We booked the car online and paid for it on collection. Cost was 161 Euros for 7 days including full insurance pack with excess cover. Shuttle bus services are available to airport from Nerja.

It's a pleasant 40 minute walk into Nerja from Punta Lara, along the beach, with numerous opportunities for refreshments along the way, and at night, the route is well lit. You can catch the bus into Nerja, hourly, across the road from Punta Lara.

Nerja is a real gem. Jane, the owner, has been very helpful and responded straight away to any questions. Nick, from the local letting agency, was easy to contact.

I'm looking forward to returning for another wonderful holiday!

Townhouse in Punta Lara

Delightful townhouse in a great location for visiting the beach and local bars. The house was very clean and very well equipped and maintained. There are spectacular views from the rooftop terrace. The owners were very helpful and accommodating in making sure that we had a very pleasant holiday. We would recommend this property for anyone wanting a relaxing holiday

Ideal family holiday home for a relaxing stay

Delightful Urbanizacion of a Punta Lara near Nerja with a beach down the road and a pool with lifeguard just around the corner. Also the Punta Lara bar across the way and the Miguels Kioska for great poolside snacks/evening meals means you'll have a great time. Most importantly the house us a real winner. Everything was as advertised and more. Clean and very well maintained, owners easy to deal with and very helpful and I happily recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday. We had a really great time and look forward to returning.

Saubere, Top ausgestattete Wohnung mit Klimaanlage. Grandiose Dachterrasse mit Blick über Punta Lara und das Meer. Perfekte Lage und schöner, sauberer Gemeinschaftspool mit Imbiss. Perfekt zum schnellen Abkühlen und Sonnenbaden. Super geeignet für Familien! Waren mit unserer 4 jährigen Tochter. Es war Klasse! Einkaufsmärkte in wenigen Autominuten zu erreichen. Wir werden die Unterkunft auf jedenfall weiterempfehlen!
