A wonderful, clean, comfortable and spacious property which I would highly recommend!

  • 5 of 5

This is a lovely property with a great owner. It really is as lovely as the puctures and absolutely immaculate. Everything works well, the kitchen is extremely well equipped, the bbq is a really good one and there is plenty of very comfortable seating. Beds are comfy and bedding and linens are good quality.

The property is spacious and feels a bit of a tardis when you walk in. The garden is sheltered, well kept and a real suntrap.

The shops and restaurants or Braunton are within easy 10 minute walking distance along pleasant and quiet roads. If you are walking down with children it is safe and quiet. The area surrounding the property is quiet and calm.

Lynda is a great host. She welcomed us and ensured we had everything we needed. We bumped into each other a couple of times and we could have called upon her easily if we needed her. Otherwise we were left to our own devices and the arrangement worked perfectly for us.

All in all we had a wonderful time and I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else when we return to North Devon in the future!!

Lovely 2 Bed bungalow

  • 4 of 5

My son and I stayed at the bungalow over Easter. Its really spacious, with good facilities and a lovely little back garden, that's completely secure. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future and recommend it without hesitation.

Immaculately presented comfortable proprty

  • 5 of 5

The bungalow was very clean and excellently presented. A 10 minute stroll took us to the centre of the village where there is a good selection of pubs and restaurants to suit all needs . The owners communications were very quick and if you need anything whilst you were there she only resided in the adjoining annexe. Everything we needed was at hand and we felt really comfortable and at home . All in all a great few days . Thank you

The property is only a few miles from wonderful sandy beaches. Saunton is ideal for families, walking dogs and surfing. Croyde is a dog free zone good surfing beach with resident lifeguards. Woolacombe is another family friendly beach, voted the 14th best beach in the world and best in Uk. Part of which is dog free. Great for walking, rock pooling, and surfing. This beach also has lifeguard cover. You can walk along to Putsborough another award winning beach, but no lifeguard cover there. The Tarka Trail, famous for cycling and walking starts in Braunton and you can cycle along the old railway line alongside the Taw and Torridge estuaries. There is a cycle hire company in the village. Braunton Burrows a world famous biosphere is a mile away. Providing guided walks and beautiful scenery. Exmoor is half an hours drive away, providing lovely scenery and great hiking. There are a number of childrens attractions nearby. A great place for a relaxing holiday.
