A well kept, fully equipped 2 bed 2 shower apartment. Close to sea and town.

NOTE; LONG TERM RENTAL ONLY. 2 bed, 2 shower apartment. Situated in a popular area of the Costa Del Sol, just 25 mins drive from Malaga Airport.

Well kept south facing apartment in a pleasant, mature, generally quiet urbanisation with good pool and loungers. New Sat TV, Washing machine, Fridge and Duvets. Nearest beach only 6 min walk + 3 miles of Sandy beaches and Town only 1.5 miles away. A local bar/ Restaurant, and a challenging Golf course with bar / restaurant aprox 500 yards.

Only 1 mile from "La Calla De Mijas" town, 2 miles west of Feungirola with its large shopping mall, and only 5 miles from Marbella served by a good bus service in either direction approximately every 20 minutes. A train service is available in Fuengirola for services to Malaga and beyond.

The apartment is fully equipped and in an ideal location for exploring Andelusia for the active amoung us, as well as being a peacefull haven for those enjoying a more sedentary life amidst the local attractions and the soft sandy beach and seafront cafes and bars. There is enough there for all seaking to escape the winter blues as well as those dreaming about basking in the all year round sun.

In winter there is a chance for heavy rain, but this usually passes in a day or two. Temperatures range around 30' in th Sumer to 15' in the winter. The apartment has warm and cold air conditioning for your all year round comfort.

Please note that being a 2nd floor apartment there are some 30 steps leading to the apartment.

About The Owner

Retired couple looking for winter sun 😀. Currently living in Shropshire. We have owned a property in Nerja, Spain before and became friendly with our visitors, many of whome became frequent visitors, one couple returned 7 years running.

We like to feel that everyone's stay will be both comfortable and enjoyable and will do our best to make it so. Any critique is welcome, and shortcomings will be corrected wherever possible.

Why The Owner chose Mijas area

The community, I'll call it that, used to be until recently a Time share property. We were fortunate in purchasing one of the last apartments fosale. Many of the apartments now have permanent residents from a variety of countries such as Denmark, Sweden, Germany and of course Britain. It comprises of a open plan Lounge / Diner /with a fully furnished kitchen down to detail, having a wash machine and all the kitchen appliances that you would hope for. We probably don't want to think about such things on holiday but a washer, Iron and board is available, moving on, a double bedroom with Ensuite shower room with a commercial, wall mounted hair drier for the ladies in the Ensuite. A Twin Bedroom using the second master shower room. There is a south balcony from the lounge overlooking the pool and mature gardens. Gibraltar and Moroco can be seen on a clear day especially after rain. There is a second balcony from the twin Bdroom which overlooks a pine forest and the mountains beyond.

Loungers are available by the pool and also in the grassed gardens for community use. You are free to use them but please don't reserve them with a towel, It is not crowded. We love the apartment and location which takes the best From a well established, quite, picturesque and calming community, but with a 3+Mile beach, lying conveniently just behind the pleasant Spanish Town of La Calla, where you will find many eating places, bars, banks and shops for you to explore and enjoy yourself. If you don't want to stray far there is a bar and restaurant at the edge of the community that has a very good and varied menu, (all meals also available as takeaways).

The La Chaparal Golf club is only meters from the apartment, a very challenging course, which also has a Restaurent and terrace bar open to everyone. We can vouch for the good food and friendly service.

My husband and I had never been to the Costa Del Sol before. Really loved the area. Train and bus service were great and reasonably priced. Apartment was in a great location. . Lovely and clean and everything you need for a long term stay. We would defiantly stay there again

Fantastic place to stay on holiday

The apartment is fantastic with lots of space for 4 people. It was very clean and comfortable and a home from home - reassuring when travelling with 2 young children! The balconies front and back offered fantastic views and it was only a short stroll to the pool. Everyone seemed very friendly and the pool was great. Not enormous but never a problem to get a sunbed and to enjoy a swim. It was a shame the pool bar is closed (up for sale) but we had a car so we were happy to drive into the lovely La Cala and Fuengirola (although there are restaurants closer). I understand that the apartment will just be for adults in future otherwise we'd love to return but we'll definitely be recommending to family and friends.

Wonderful little gem on the Mijas Costa

We have recently returned from a lovely 10 day holiday to this great apartment in Cala de Mijas. We are a family of 4 and the apartment was everything we want and expect for our annual holiday and much more. Perfectly situated within a very friendly community the amenities are everything you could need.

Excellently maintained, the apartment itself is clean, light and spacious with lovely views and plenty of home from home facilities making for a very comfortable stay. The pool is a good size and spotlessly clean and our girls loved it, and pleasantly surprised that being the middle of August it was in no way over subscribed or crowded. The communal gardens are immaculate and the apartment surroundings are peaceful and ideal for a relaxing holiday. There are plenty of shops and excellent quality restaurants within a 10 minute walk, all of which are reasonably priced and very close to the beach. Nearby Fuengirola provides a fantastic source of shopping and a water park. Cala de Mijas is also pretty with a great variety of bars and restaurants. A visit to Mijas town is highly recommended, beautiful scenery and a lovely day out experiencing the charm of this area of Spain.

John the owner is very friendly and always on hand to answer any questions and is extremely helpful and informative which gave us great confidence and peace of mind in the run up to our stay.

We found this to be the perfect summer holiday for us and already looking forward to returning.

Perfect with all u need and a great area really loved it

An absolutely beautiful place me an my family loved it. With all u need in the lovely apartment and a lovely complex. Everything close by and bus service to most places.

We really don't wanna go home would recommend to anyone young and old will be back in a year 100% best family holiday so far thank you

Wonderful apartment on beautiful, quiet complex

Myself and two friends have just returned from staying at this wonderful apartment and I personally can't wait to return in Sept! The apartment itself was lovely, clean and easily accessible and had everything you need plus lovely views! The pool was lovely and clean. The Lighthouse Bar is a 2min walk, very quiet but lovely food. We discovered a row of restaurants and a shop a 10 min walk away, (go to the road near pool, walk to your left, down the hill, then keep to the right and at the bottom of that road turn left and you'll be there). There is also a pharmacy there. Down the road opposite the Lighthouse bar is the bus stop, (walk right to the bottom and turn right). Bus was only 1.55 euros, we usually taxied back (approx 12 euros) although you could bus or walk back! We thoroughly recommend El Jinette which was a 10 min taxi ride away for food and music, they have music nights with a 3 course menu for just 22 euros. La Cala itself is just lovely, lots of places to eat, we had a gorgeous breakfast at Olivia's and a great night out at Legends we love it and can't wait to return again!
