Spacious, Newly Refurbished, Large Bournemouth Victorian 3 Bed, 1st Floor Flat

Spacious apartment, within walking distance of the Alum Chine Beach and Westbourne. 15 Minute walk along the beach promenade to the centre of Bournemouth and situated within the West Cliff conservation area.

The property has recently been refurbished July 2015 and fitted with new beds and bedding. It offers all the expected mod cons and luxurious touches associated from a Boutique retreat. With 3 bedrooms and flexible sleeping arrangement it offers excellent family or friends orientated accommodation.

Off street parking is available for 1 car on the driveway and there is plenty of on-street parking.

Accommodation:

Large lounge: The lounge area includes 2 large comfy sofas, dining area coffee table and with 55” flat screen TV, Sky TV, DVD and WIFI.

Kitchen: The kitchen contains all new, modern appliances including an oven, electric hobs, integrated fridge and freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine and microwave. A basic welcoming kit is provided on arrival. There is also a small dinning table can comfortably seat 4 persons for breakfast.

Bathroom: The bathroom is tiled from floor to ceiling, with bath / shower, toilet and sink with vanity mirror c/w light and shaving socket.

Family Toilet: Separate toilet with small vanity sink.

Master Bedroom: The large master bedroom contains a king size bed, fitted mirrored wardrobe, dressing table and draw spaces. This room also has an area for a ‘put up’ bed or child’s cot.

Bedroom 2: The second bedroom contains two single beds, which can be combined to make a king sized bed as required. There is also room to fit a child’s cot. Furnished with wardrobe, drawers and dressing table.

Bedroom 3: This fun box room is fitted with bunk beds and a chest of drawers.

Garden: To the rear of the property there is a small-secluded garden area, with a patio area, table and chairs, sun loungers and within a small shed is a bar-b-que and beach toys for the use of the guests.

The apartments are cleaned and carefully inspected/ prepared for guests arrival.

High quality linens and towels are provided. Additional bedding and towels are within the apartment.

Great three bed flat close to the right part of the beach

The Beaulieu road flat is a great spot for a family holiday. The flat has been recently modernised to a high standard. Tasteful and elegant, the flat is the perfect size for a small family or two couples. The owner was terrific, very helpful both before the visit and during the stay, responding to issues quickly and effectively.

The flat was very clean, there were nice large towels provided and there is a good shower and two toilets. There is a nice large TV in the lounge with SKY (sadly not the sports package though). The wifi worked very well. We were provided with a cot, ready made up which was fantastic and saved us a good amount of extra hassle.

It was thoughtful of the owners to put a toy box in the house, so it is child friendly.

With a 3 year year old and an 18 month year old, the 10 minute walk to the beach was perfect and being away from the main centre meant a quieter and safer location ideally for our family. There is a nice playground next to the beach and the stop for the small train that runs to the main hub of Bournemouth.

We had dinner at Blake's one evening, thanks to help from the owner who arranged a good babysitting option for us. A reasonable choice though there are probably a few others worth visiting.

The only thing to be aware of is that the beds in the third room are small singles. They probably only suit children and not adults, unless the adults are Olympic cyclists or professional jockeys. Also beware ordering the Indian takeaway from the leaflet in the flat if you would like to avoid bland and tasteless chicken tikka malasa!

I suggest you bring your own radio to the flat as the kitchen doesn't have one and it gets fairly quiet in there without any sound.

Sandbanks is a 5 minute drive and supermarkets and the town centre are easy to access if you have a car.

Overall, we had nice stay and would happily recommend this excellent flat.

The apartment was indeed luxurious and homely. All the rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The welcome pack of essentials and luxuries made us feel very welcome. So many extras were available,eg the BBQ, which made it feel like 'home from home'. Also the location was brilliant; the beach was 6 mins away through a lovely woodland walk but Bournemouth and Sandbanks were also within easy walking reach. We all definitely want to return.

Good location

The apartment is close to a nice beach and various restaurants (walking distance). Bournemouth is not far away either. Very friendly owner and nice apartment too. Would recommend it.
