Cottage, 3 Double Bedrooms & 2 Bathrooms for 6 People Plus Baby

Roma cottage is in the ideal location, right in the heart of Staithes, but away from the road so perfect for small children. All three bedrooms have a spacious airy feel and are individually styled with the attic master bedroom having an ensuite bathroom. This charming and cosy cottage is ideal for a romantic break for two - just throw some coal on the fire and open the wine! Its spacious layout is just as suited to a great family holiday. See the photographs for the newly refurbished living room and master suite, cosy bedrooms, thoughtful touches, well-equipped kitchen (totally re-fitted in 2016) and 2 bathrooms, all presented to a high standard throughout. Staithes is a working fishing village that has been designated with conservation status due to its unique character and is within the Yorkshire National Park. Its cobbled streets and narrow alleyways reflect its rugged past. With its own small sandy beach no wonder it's called "a bit of Cornwall in Yorkshire". It is the perfect base for walking, touring and exploring the coast and North Yorkshire Moors. Whitby is only 10 miles away, Scarborough is 35 minutes by car and Heartbeat Country is all around. The Cleveland Way passes through the village and stunning cliff top walks start straight out of your front door.

We love our times in the cottage, so understand how important your holiday is to you also. Roma Cottage really is the ideal place for both a romantic weekend away and a beach holiday with the children.

Payment terms are normally 50% deposit with balance within 8 weeks, however 25% is acceptable by prior arrangement. Cheque or bank transfer all accepted.

Changeover Day:
Weekly bookings: change over day is Friday.
3 night short stay: commence on a Friday (arrival after 3pm), departure 10am on Monday morning.
Mid week short stay: commence on a Monday (arrival after 3pm), departure by 10am on Friday morning.

Notes on prices:
* Weekly bookings run from Friday to Friday
* Weekend short break stays from Friday for 3 nights (nightly rate x 3)
* Out of season we may be able to offer more flexibility

Notes:
Parking - Staithes is not designed for modern day traffic and part of its unique charm is the quiet cobbled streets. Therefore there is only minimal short stay parking down in the village (40 minutes). We have purchased a parking permit that allows for you to park on the council car park free of charge,(additional cars can pay locally). You can drive down to the cottage anytime to drop off & unload. The car park is about 400 yards away and accessed via quite a nice path overlooking the village that also avoids the hill. Outside: Front gated private patio with outside seating. To the rear of the cottage is a small enclosed yard, some seating and BBQ. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen is included and beds will be made up ready for your arrival. You will need to bring your own towels, though kitchen towels and cleaning materials are all provided. A parking permit is also supplied for one car free of charge.
