4 Star cottage adjoining attractive home, overlooking the Gareloch, near Helensburgh and close to Loch Lomond. Sleeps a maximum of 2 persons.

The open-plan kitchen/living-room has a fully-fitted kitchen with electric oven & hob, extractor, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, iron and washing service. There's oak flooring, leather sofa, a dining area, WiFi Internet access, iPod dock, TV, DVD, Digital radio. A tea-tray with home-made cake welcomes you.

Upstairs, the double-bedded room has an antique suite, TV, hairdryer, alarm clock, CD player, plus adjoining bathroom with over-bath electric shower, towels, shaver point, and a selection of toiletries.

Cot/high-chair available. We provide bedlinen, towels, gas central-heating and electricity.

There’s a patio, garden furniture, off-road parking.

No smoking.

Dogs welcome (sorry, one only, which must not be left alone in the accommodation at any time. There are lots of good dog-walking places in this area).

Garemount Lodge is an ideal base for exploring this beautiful area of Scotland. We’re on the Clyde Sea Lochs Trail, near Loch Lomond, within an hour of Glasgow, Stirling, the Trossachs, Inveraray, and close to the Clyde Submarine Base at Faslane.

Rates: £320-£440 per week. Short Breaks off season: £210-£245.

About Mrs. Janet Cowie

I was born and brought up on a farm in Lancashire. I moved to Shandon in Argyll just before our son was born in 1979. We built Garemount Lodge a few years later to the design of a Scottish cottage. In 1991 we built an extension with the purpose of providing a Bed & Breakfast business, which I ran until 2004. We then converted this section of the house into a self-catering accommodation, with an open-plan kitchen/living room downstairs and a double bedroom with adjoining bathroom upstairs. I was pleased to be awarded a 4 Star grading by the Scottish Tourist Board (Visit Scotland). Over the years we have enjoyed welcoming visitors to our home from all over the world.
