This house with 2 levels is situated in a small complex with communual pool (8.5mx2.5m), on the edge of Albuñuelas. There is a terrace, heating and airco. From the bedroom on the first floor you can enjoy beautiful views on the surroundings. The location is fantistic and offers a lot of walkingtours. But it's also possible to visit the Alhambra in Granada (25 min.), the beaches at the Mediterraenen Sea (40min), Sierra Nevada or Alpujarras. The house is well equiped for 4 people. In the village there are tapas bars, supermarkets, a bakery and a pharmacy.

Why Spain Rural chose Costa Tropical & Lecrin Valley

Albunuelas is an old village dating back to the 10th and 11thC and was on the routes of al Idrisi, the first Arab geographer and Leon the African, who travelled from central Africa to Granada.

It is perched on the slopes above the Rio Santo with stunning views across the gorge, the Sierra de Albunuelas and the Sierra de las Guajaras. The shops and bars are in the upper bario, but all are within walking distance.

There is a small supermarket as well as a bakerie. Most interesting though, is the forest road above Albunuelas, accessed from the Albunuelas/Granada road, which provides stunning views across the countryside.
