About the property

Bright and comfortable apartment in the highest and sunniest part of Puerto Rico

My apartment is close to the Best beaches in the south of Gran Canaria. No windy beaches ideal for children, perfect starting point for visit the island, sunbathing and spend in a warm place the cold months.

The mild climate, the area sheltered from the wind, makes Puerto Rico a welcoming place in any season.

The apartment is located in a PRIVATE TOURIST COMPLEX, with pool and tennis court, at the top of the hill: 1 km from the city center and shopping area.

Grocery store to 50 mt from the residence.

This is my family holiday apartment, I do not live in Gran Canaria. We rent it only when do not use it. I prefer to accommodate quiet and respectful people, couples, lone adventurers, pensioners and families (with 1 child). Maximum 3 people.

Puerto Rico has a bus station. There are departures to destinations all over the island including the airport and the capital city: Las Palmas.


A taxi ride from my apartment to the city center/beach/bus station costs about 3 Euros/2,2 pounds.

Utilities: water and electricity

Blankets and bedsheets. Towels in the bathroom and in kitchen.

Detergents for the cleaning of the house.

Hairdryer, Iron, Microwave, fridge with small freezer, kettle...

TV SAT: BBC, France 24, Bloomberg...

Final cleaning.

NO maid service during the stay

NO air conditioning, it is not necessary: the apartment is well ventilated and has several windows in every room.

PAID WIFI: 1a- hotspot system - 20€ a week, 28€ 2 weeks, or 40€ a month.

PAID SERVICES (optional):

Shared washing machine in the laundry area (3 euro a wash).

WI-FI: Hotspot in the entire residence by paying a daily, weekly or monthly fee. The service can be purchased online by credit card or asking to the receptionist.

NOTE: 1300 hotspots scattered throughout the south of the island. Buying the internet subscription online, it works around the resort and in many other southern cities.


Max 3 guests (best 2 adults + 1 child).

The apartment is 35 sq.m.+ 16 terrace and it is perfect for 2 people.

A large double bed in the bedroom and a single sofa bed in the living room.


Yes, A 30 and 50 mt. from the resort there is a large open space used for parking and It's free for those staying in the area. There is enough parking for all guests.


I do not live in Gran Canaria so I'll let you the keys to enter in the apartment in a small safe with code just outside the front door of the building. You will be given your personal code a week before the stay. The code is changed for each customer.


YES, but only if you specify the estimated time during or before booking. This is required only to facilitate me in managing arrivals and departures/cleaning in order to avoid overlap guests.


STAFF: In the tourist complex there are 3 people during the day who check and maintain the tourist resort and can help you in case of problems. We can interact via email, SMS, What.App /mobile.

THINGS TO DO starting from Puerto Rico:

. Relaxing in Playa de Amadores or Anfi del Mar

. Do water sports in Playa de Puerto Rico

. Take the ferry to go to the famous street market of Mogan or Arguineguín.

. Play golf at nearby Tauro,

. Walking in the dunes of Maspalomas (15 km from the residence)

. A walk (Trekking or Nordic walking) or a bike ride along the paths of the mountain,

- Visit the island's hinterland with its typical villages in the Canarian style...

Perfect November stay!

Very nice apartment, clean and tidy, well equipped. Good beds, enough hot water, everything you need for a good stay! Many long time-stay guests in the complex, nice people. Handywoman Laura in reception/everywhere is the brain, the sun and the heart of the complex. A nice new shop is 100 steps away. Long sunny breakfasts, 45 minutes walk to Norskeplassen and then you can choose a longer walk or return. Lunch under sun umbrella and then a relaxing afternoon with a good book in pool area. A perfect November!

It was a very clean well equiped property to which was perfectly situated. Tremendously peaceful.

My partner and I was pleased how our holiday came together as we booked everything individually through different organisations. From the flights, accommodation, airport parking and car hire. After a long day travelling, it was such a relief to walk into an apartment so warm and comforting. The locality of it was just what we was hoping for.

We enjoyed our week of relaxing in the pleasant surroundings in between our touring around this wonderful Island.

Good value for money, clean and homely apartment

Apartment was well equipped and the owner has put alot of effort into making the place homely. We enjoyed our stay and the quality of accommodation is reflected in the price you pay for the rental. I would say you need to have a car or be very fit to access tha apartment from Puerto de Rico town centre.

lovely apartment a little remote no local amenities not for people with mobility issues

we enjoyed our stay but disappointed that there was no local bars or shops and reception was very rarely open although advertised as being near Amadores beach it was an hours walk away

However, I am glad the apartment has been to your liking and I hope you had a nice holiday. --- Considering that I particularly pleased that my guests book a structure suited to their needs, I advise my future guests to contact me before booking and ask me for more specific details. For the position, if it is not well translated in my AD, I specify that the tourist residence is located in the upper part of Puerto Rico, on the hill. 1 km from the city center and from Puerto Rico beach. The Amadores beach is connected from the Puerto Rico beach with a path overlooking the ocean. My apartment is about 3 km walking and 5km by car far from Amadores. Being a very touristy area, Taxis are readily available and cost approximately € 3 per trip to get to the beach and the downtown. Take a taxi, or rent a car, is recommended for people, like me, who do not like walking. Free parking. Thanks.
