La Maison Provencale is part of a beautifully restored villa that is located 5 minutes from sandy beaches and the old town of Antibes.

Set in a quiet neighbourhood, is perfect for those who want to have a very spacious home near restaurants, shops, and the beach.

This property maintains the historic charm of this belle-epoque gem but with all modern conveniences added. We provide onsite secured parking with video surveillance. More details at Antibes-Rental.

This villa has been completely renovated to feature all modern conveniences (WiFi, ensuite bathrooms in the bedrooms, Daikin air conditioning, TVs with English channels and Netflix, a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen, etc.) while preserving the character of this historic building.

The home also boasts a well-manicured Provencal-style garden with alfresco dining area with a gas barbecue grill.

Guests will enjoy relaxing in the Penthouse with its high vaulted ceilings, an ensuite bathroom with large soaking tub and experience shower, and a private roof terrace overlooking the old town of Antibes and the sea.

Guests have access to two bedrooms, a private roof terrace, a living room, dining room/kitchen, outdoor terrace off of the kitchen, and their own garden with sun loungers, dining area and barbecue.

La Maison Provençale is located a short stroll away from the restaurants, market, and shops in the historic centre of Antibes. It is also five minute walk to several sandy beaches (including one with a private beach with sun loungers and lunch available). We are also about a ten minute walk to Juan Les Pins with its beaches, restaurants, and night life.

We are located a fifteen minute walk to the Antibes train station and bus station. Many of our guests come without a car but we do provide secure on-site parking with video surveillance. The closest airport is Nice Cote d'Azur airport (20 minutes by car/taxi). There are express busses from the airport to Antibes.

Perfect base in Antibes

The Maison Provencal was a perfect base for our stay in Antibes. The location was ideal – an easy walk to both Old Antibes and the beaches. Since we had a car, the private parking was a great asset. The house was as beautiful as it looks on the website – not a generic holiday rental, but a genuine home designed with great care. All the fittings and furniture were of the highest quality. The kitchen was completely equipped for preparing and serving wonderful meals with the ingredients we purchased at the Provencal Market. The Livingroom was tastefully furnished. We especially enjoyed the art on the walls. The bathrooms were both luxurious and practical. We could only dream of having such bathrooms in our New York City apartment! The bedrooms, like everything else in the house, were comfortable and attractive. There was excellent lighting throughout, as well as very effective air conditioning (which we rarely needed). The last thing anyone wants to think about on vacation is ironing, but having the iron and ironing board set up in the laundry room made even that task more pleasant. Another very special asset of the Maison Provencal was its three (!) beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces. We tried to use each of them every day, but our favorite was the balcony off the penthouse suite. We spent almost every evening there watching the changing light over the city. Kudos to Tom and Paul who created this wonderful environment and who were so responsive to our every communication both before and during our stay. All their recommendations for restaurants and places to go were spot-on. Also, thanks to Suzanne, their property manager who greeted us on arrival, answered our questions during our stay, and saw us off when it was time to leave. If we return to Antibes, we wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else.

simply ideal

We were lucky enough to spend two weeks at Le Calado. The house is beautifully designed, the decor is charming, modern and very tasteful and every detail has been carefully thought through...down to the linens and the lovely towels and beach bags! The pool is magnificent and the gardens are beautiful.

Le Calado is nicely situated between Antibes and Juan les Pins, providing easy walks to the old town of Antibes and the lively beaches in both areas. Truly, all of the properties owned and managed by these owners are impeccable and exceed their descriptions.

To summarize, Le Calado is simply ideal in every way.
