Description

Flat 2 Clehonger Manor

Flat 2 is a first floor open planned apartment with vaulted ceilings and a wealth of exposed beams and stonework. There is a balcony leading off the main bedroom with a view over the fields and local gothic church.

The bathroom has electric underfloor heating while the rest of the apartment is fully centrally heated.

There is ample parking for several cars on the property and also dry storage for bicycles


About the property

Two open plan apartments

These open plan apartments each have outstanding features in their own right with the balcony off the first floor bedroom, while the ground floor apartment has access to its own private garden. They can be hired separately by up to three people each as each apartment has both a double and single bedroom or together as one unit for groups of up to six people or couples wishing to holiday together but maintain their own space.

The property was completely refurbished five years ago and maintains the character of the original two storey barn with plentiful beams and vaulted ceilings together with the modern fittings sought after by the holiday maker today.

The colours of grey and white in the decor reflect the surroundings which guests find both restful and attractive.

We have full gas central heating together with underfloor heating in both bathrooms.

Both apartments have an open plan setting which contains the kitchen, dining area and lounge in one spacious area.

Both apartments have a double bed in the main bedroom and a single bed in the small bedroom.

We are happy to welcome children when both apartments are rented as a whole but unfortunately due to the nature of the building and the peace of the other guests cannot accommodate children when only one apartment is requested.

The bathroom in the ground floor apartment is ensuite to the main bedroom .

There is plentiful parking for several vehicles in the grounds .

Although our apartments are in a rural setting we are only 2.5 miles from Hereford city which provides access to the numerous resorts that Herefordshire has to offer.

We Loved the whole experience and Jude has done a wonderful job isn providing a comfortable ,clean holiday home.

She has provided nearly everything that is needed for a comfortable stay plus some!!

Very happy to recommend this to anyone wishing to stay in a quiet farming area close to Hereford city..

The property is very close to walking areas in Hereford or many of the other walking areas of this beautiful county.

Lovely apartment, perfect for us

My mother and i stayed in the property for 4 nights and it was great. Had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. Within driving distance to lots of lovely places to visit. Would definitely stay again.

Beautifully presented flat with lovely views

We loved the upstairs flat - it has everything you need and is beautifully fitted out, has comfy beds and plenty of room for our family of 3. As others have mentioned, there were eggs, bread and milk left for out arrival, which is a nice touch.

The balcony on the main bedroom has views over open fields, and it was lovely to hear the dawn chorus through the open door (it was mild for February!) There are plenty of things to do in the area too - we will almost certainly be back - highly recommended.

Immaculate Apartment

Great stay

A beautiful property and more spacious than the photographs would have you believe. The apartment is very well equipped and very comfortable, Jude makes a real effort to ensure that your arrival is welcome and provides more than just the basics to start you off. The views from the balcony are lovely, we spent many an evening sitting in the sunset looking over the fields to the church and the horses and sheep in the neighbouring fields, The furnishings are comfortable and the bed linen is of the highest standard and the quality you would welcome in your own home. We loved the peace and quiet and the walks we could do from the apartment. Clehonger is in a lovely part of the country with lots to see and do. Within an hours drive you could be paddling a canoe on the river Wye, cycling in the Forest of Dean, walking through the splendours of the Wye valley and Tintern Abbey or browsing the bookshops in Hay on Wye. Cardiff and even Bath are only a little further.

We would happily return and will certainly recommend this property to friends and family.

great place to stay

fantastic stylish apartment, very comfy and cosy, spotlessly clean with everything you need. great balcony on the main bedroom with nice country views.

ideal location for exploring the area or just for relaxing in peaceful and quiet countryside. would love to return. owners are very friendly. Highly recommended if there were 6 stars i would tick them!
