About the Owner

Apple Tree House is located on our farm, we are an arable farm and grow crops of Wheat, Sugar Beet, Beans and Oil Seed Rape.

We are the third generation to farm here and love the quietness of our countryside, spending time with our dogs.

We live close by so are on hand to help if needs be, we look forward to welcoming you to Apple Tree House.

Lovely property with large garden enhanced by beautiful weather

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay. Angie was very welcoming and the Victoria sponge went down a treat (compliments to the baker) Having visited North Norfolk for the last 3 years we knew the area and were able to spend time at Wells on a number of days. We ate at the Kings Arms in Reepham (very busy - but decent food) If I was to make a couple of specific comments regarding the cottage firstly it would be the lack of freezer or freezer department in the fridge. We did end up buying food on each day - which we would have preferred not to have done. Secondly I had to pick up "deposits" a couple of times from the garden - again something I would have preferred not to have done- maybe the dog visits could be supervised..? All in all very nice.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review, we value all our guest comments. Glad you explored all that Norfolk had to offer, and so pleased you enjoyed the Guests Welcome Pack especially the Victoria Sponge. We have been considering purchasing a Freezer so your comments were most welcome. Apologies for the deposits, it is a shame that you did not contact us, as we are next door, and clearing this up is not something we expect our guests to do.

A stunning rural cottage with picturesque views

  • 5 of 5

We (2 Adults, 2 Children and our dog) stayed over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend (5 nights). Our first impression on arriving at the property was breathtaking. The cottage was thoroughly clean and well presented. There are plenty of places to visit and things to do, all within a 30-40 mins drive. We visited Sheringham Park (great walks), Wells-next-the-Sea (crabbing, seaside gift shops and arcades) and hired a boat on the Broads (Wroxham) for a few hours stopping off for a pub lunch. The kids and dog loved playing in the huge garden, which was secure and safe. We stocked up with food from Reepham village, the Butchers is a must and also a Greengrocers and a Spar. All of which had extremely friendly locals. Angie and Ed are very hospitable and ensure that you have everything you need. On arrival we were greeted by a homemade Victoria Sponge and a bottle of wine in the fridge. All in all a perfect tranquil family getaway and cannot recommend enough. Thank you Ian, Lorraine, Luke, Evie and Cory the dog.

Fantastic relaxing few days in an ideal location

  • 5 of 5

Booked a few days to get away at very short notice, Angie was great and fit is in no probl at all! Cottage is beautiful, amazing tranquil location, beautifully decorated, cosy and also greeted with a gorgeous Victoria sandwich and a bottle of wine! If you want to get away from it all and have some quality family time this cottage is for you. The dog loved the open plan cottage, the kids loved the windy staircases and the view of horses! Even though you are in the middle of nowhere everything is not too far away. Reepham square is beautiful and caters for all foodies and shoppers alike. And beautiful places like Holt, Blakeney and Burnham are not too far away. 10/10 and well needed break for all in the ideal cottage! Thank you so much Angie and Ed for making our stay so comfortable!! Dina, Mij, Anya, Kian & Oscar!!
