Modern 2 bedroom 2 bathroom lodge situated at White Cross Bay on Lake Windermere

The lodge is fully equipped with everything you could need to make your stay as relaxing as possible with leisure facilities on site including indoor swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and gym (£15 for a family pass), games room, shop bar/restaurant. Outside there are childrens play areas, multi sports area and beer garden, down by the marina there is a picnic area with tables and large grass area with jettys to launch and moor boats (with a small charge to the park) and a self service laundrette.

In the lodge there is free wifi, well equipped kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher, iron/ironing board, microwave, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, TV/DVD in lounge and bedrooms, en-suite shower room and family bathroom, hairdryer, BBQ and patio furniture. Linen and towels (including tea towel) are provided and the lodge is cleaned to a high standard from a private cleaning service.

Maximum of 2 well behaved dogs with considerate owners allowed.

Bookings are made direct with owner, 25% deposit with balance due 1 month before arrival, bookings made less than 6 weeks before arrival will require full payment, payment can be made with BACS transfer or a cheque.

Remo and myself live in the Isle of Man with our 2 dogs, we have been visiting the Lakes for the last few years and have enjoyed staying at White Cross Bay, we love just chilling out in the lodge and getting out for lovely walks and eating in the dog friendly pubs.

The Smiths Lakes Getaway

This is a beautiful, modern and we'll equipped lodge. Weather wasn't very good but it didn't stop us getting out with the dogs. Lovely welcome pack on arrival and everything you will need to complete your stay. Nice location on the site. My daughter said it's the nicest looking lodge on there. The outside is great too with the decking being gated, safe for our dogs and also for if you have young children. All in all was a really great place wished we had booked for longer. Will definately recommend and also will be back. Thank you again x

fantastic modern well appointed lodge

What a lovely well appointed lodge! It's clean, cozy and modern and had everything needed for a really comfortable stay for us and our 5 month old baby. It was definitely a real home from home and made our first trip away as a family perfect (despite some pretty miserable weather!). The park itself is also lovely for young families with leisure facilities and a pub/restaurant within easy walking distance of the lodge.

Lovely Break

The lodge was lovely, clean, welcoming, modern but still made us feel comfortable and able to relax with our dog. The site is really nice (the front desk staff were a bit over doing the checking of our reservation and giving us the keys that they had forgotten to give us when we first checked in though), we ate in the members bar one eve as the main bar was being decorated, the staff were very nice and the food reasonably priced and more than adequate. We hadn't visited the lakes for 24 years and had forgotten how fantastic the area is, we will definitely be back asap.
